Situated in a rural olive grove but with easy access to major roads. The Estrella mountains and the coast are within easy reach by car. The town of Ansiao easily caters for your needs at the accommodation. This area shows true Portugal at its best. Loved it.

Set amid olive trees and Portuguese oaks about 10 minutes drive from the small rown of Ansiao where you will find everything for your daily needs, Casa de Olival has virtually everything for a peaceful vacation for two or an energetic family holiday. Located between Lisbon and Porto - with good motorway connections - we suggest the A1 from both destinations. Come off at Junction 10 for Pombal - then follow the IC8 till you get to Ansiao / Sarzedela exit. Turn left to Sarzedela the 3rd exit at the roundabout to Santiago de Guarda. Follow this road and take the left hand turning to Pinheiro. Again, follow this till you see a house with green gates, turn left then immediate right done the lane. We are 100 metres on the right
