Der Salone Piazza Grande ist ein 100-jähriges historisches Jugendstilhaus mit hohen Räumen im Dorfzentrum von Curio. Die Ferienwohnung ist die oberste Wohnung im 2.Stock mit viel Sonne und Blick auf den Luganersee. Das Dorf Curio liegt im mittleren Malcantone rund 3 Kilometer westlich von Agno im Südwesten des Tessins. Es liegt auf 569 m ü. M. am Südhang des Monte Sciaroni über dem Tal der Magliasina mitten in ausgedehnten Kastanienwäldern. Die hügelige Waldlandschaft generiert eine angenehme, saubere und frische Luft zu jeder Jahreszeit. Zur Talstation der Monte Lema Seilbahn in Miglieglia sind es 3km und an den Luganersee nach Caslano sind es 5km. Im Malcantone kann man wunderschöne Wanderungen machen, biken, baden, reiten, romantische Bergdörfer entdecken, fein essen gehen und auch Abst...

ABFALL/RECYCLING: Entsorgungs- und Recyclingort ist auf der Via Favirolo unterhalb der St. Peters Kirche. Nicht in der Nacht und nicht am Sonntag gestattet. Allgemeinen Abfall nur in den gelben Abfallsäcken (Sackgebühr) entsorgen. Glas-, PET-, Kleinmetall- und Alu-Container stehen zur Verfügung. Keine Grünabfuhr / kein öffentlicher Kompost. Karton, Papier und Sperrmüll wird auf einem Platz 2km vor Curio gesammelt (nur mittwochs und samstags, 14:00 - 17:00 Uhr).
