About the neighbourhood
We live in a small hamlet consisting of four properties. We are actually nearer to the village of Saint Gilles Vieux Marche which is a Ville Fleurie and has a Bar Tabac and restaurant. The nearest supermarkets are in Mur de Bretagne, Uzel and Corlay but there are larger supermarkets in the towns of Pontivy and Loudeac. There are plenty of places to visit such as the Lac de Guerledan, Abbaye de Bon Repos, Nantes a Brest Canal, Rigole d'Hilvern, Lac du Bosmeleac, Les Forges des Salles etc. We are centrally located for visits to the North and South coasts of Brittany. The beautiful Emerald and Pink Granite coast is to the north and the ancient town of Vannes and the Golfe de Morbihan is to the south.
Getting around
We are very rural so a car is necessary for your stay.
