Overview
Cottage -
3 Bedrooms , 2 Bathrooms , Sleeps 6
St Just, Cornwall, England
This house is a lovely barn conversion, providing compact family accommodation, which would be ideal for 4 people (although it can fit 6, making use of the sofa bed in the upstairs lounge/bedroom).

The local town, St Just, is a 10 minute walk up the lane and has all the amenities you could need: Co-op supermarket, two butchers, bakers, green-grocers, 5 pubs, excellent fish and chips (local fish), cafes and newsagents.

I am offering you my family home for your holiday - my aim is for you to enjoy your stay in this lovely part of the country as much as I enjoy living here! Lots of helpful local information (as well as useful bits of equipment) along with a warm welcome await you here at Phoenix Barn in the Cot Valley, just outside St Just (and on the Phoenix Barn website). Pets are welcome, incidentally!

After I had booked Phoenix Barn I noticed that there was a new review which had been added, after reading it I have to be honest I was a little worried .........

The location of the property is lovely and Andy was very friendly but the house itself wasn't very clean. Lots of cobwebs, spiders and flies and the view of junk from the kitchen window was very off putting. This could be a lovely house but it definitely needs some work to clean it up and bring it up to the...

Management response:

Well, Tracey! I'm sorry - this is not a suburban house, but a family home in the countryside (as it states in the advert), and you are my first guests in 5 years who have complaned (at all, as it happens). As for cleanliness, I personally cleaned the house very thoroughly before your arrival - I'm not sure where the...

We love staying here, the views are to die for, it really doesn't get any better than this. The barn is cosy and welcoming, an easy walk into st just and its pubs and eateries. The hardest part is leaving,, see you soon Andrew !
