Holiday Rental House
A charming house set within the medieval ramparts of the Chateau of St Martin Laguepie. It is a great place for a family holiday, with plenty of activities possible on site. The garden is large and very private. And the view is spectacular! The village of Laguepie is a short picturesque stroll away down the footpath leading from the castle. You will enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay here yet still be within easy driving distance of several medieval villages. The village has a supermarket, a butcher shop, a bakery for your morning croissants and a small twice weekly market. With three restaurants and a couple of bars for your enjoyment in the village, you can have an evening out with just a short stroll home. About the neighbourhood
Laguepie is steeped in history, the 11th century chateau stands high above the village and is the majestic focal point as you arrive at your destination. The area is surrounded by many more beautiful villages within easy travelling distance by car, including Najac, Cordes-sur-Ciel and St Antonin de Noble Val to name a few. Laguépie has just been awarded the prestigious clean environment award (Pavillion Bleu 2018) for its exceptionally clean Viaur River and its environs. For lovers of the outdoors there are numerous sporting activities available close by including swimming, kayaking, tennis, horse riding, walking, cycling, climbing and fishing. Shops and restaurants are a short walk down to the village.
