Amazing Stay at StephNa Residence Delux Rental
We are regular visitors to the Seychelles (8 times) with this being our 1st stay at Stephna Residence and we were well impressed. From the beginning, Dorothy was excellent with her email/message responses to our many queries (even arranged to get some groceries in for our Xmas Eve arrival), and was exceptional on her communications when we missed our connecting flight. She was very quick to respond and reassure with regards to our late arrival at a very upsetting and stressful time! Thank you so much, Dorothy! StephNa has amazing staff with Remy and Lacmal, and nothing was too much trouble for them. They were always helpful, friendly and courteous and worked hard keeping the place spotless (even cleaning up our mess after us using the Bbq - thanks guys!). We had lovely fresh flowers in our room on arrival and their making our bed and cleaning our room on a daily basis was greatly appreciated. There is such a lot of great things to say about StephNa Residence, however, to help the TripAdvisor community out, here is the abridged (and honest) summary of our stay at the accommodation. PROS - Amazing views of bay/sunsets (on a steep hill so be aware for driving) - Friendly and helpful staff (Remy's cooking is delicious & reasonably priced and Lacmal kindly did laundry for us before we went home - thank you both - SUPERSTARS!! ). - Very clean & well maintained/SERVICED in the apartment . - Extremely Comfy bed (best in all our Seychelles visits!) - Great Aircon & fan - Clean and gated small pool & decking area with comfy sunbeds. - BBQ available for use (let the guys know you want to use it and they will get it ready for you). - Ample free car parking/owners have car for rental. - Free WiFi available (although connection depended where you sat) - Fast & helpful email/messaging replies. CONS (nothing major for us - only to make you aware) - Intermittent temperature in shower (could be problem to some - staff made aware). - No safe box in delux flat (believe available in other 2 rentals). - Cooking utensils supplied but no saucepan (oversight & staff notified but we made do). - No door handle inside front door of Delux Rental (sometimes difficult to open without using key as leverage). TO CONSIDER - Steep drive entrance to property - Delux rental accessed by steps but amazing view from private deck - Resident dogs & cats (not allowed inside rentals so no issue for us but did like to visit, especially on the deck at tea time... hahaha) On a whole, we had an amazing 9 day stay (after losing a day with incompetent airline issues) and a lot was due to the friendly service and amazing location of StephNa Residence. We would highly recommend the place and would definitely use again! Many thanks for a fabulous stay, Dorothy, Remy and Lacmal, and hope to see you again in the future!

If you're looking for self catering apartments, look no further!
The location, the amazing hospitality, the facilities, the clean rooms everyday, the value for money, the views, all communication leading up to our visit, everything was great! Henry and Remi were perfect hosts and provided us with service beyond anything we expected from a self catering guesthouse. You absolutely HAVE to get them to cook a meal for you, I often tasted Henry's creations and they were by far the best food I had in Mahe - 100% recommended! We will be back.

Great stay
It's little far from airport and jetty but it's nice and quite atmosphere around the house. The facilities inside the residence was good. Very Good place to stay.

Excellent
So many great things to say about this place. The best self catering apartments we stayed in during our stay. Super friendly and laid back staff, gorgeous modern pool and pool area, with a stunning view of the sea. Apartment was large and gorgeous, done out in serious luxurious style with absolutely everything you could possibly need plus lovely extras and finishing touches. Decor was fabulous, like a 5 star hotel. All very clean. King size bed, lovely modern en-suite, great living area with tv and USB stick full of films to watch for free. Furniture was stunning. Kitchen was also fab and modern. Lovely outdoor patio area with table & chairs and outside light and washing line. Wi fi was free and very good but only came up near the pool, which I didn't mind! They also do fabulous family apartments, huge with great facilities and an upstairs, like a small house. Also done out very nicely and modern. Lovely friendly pets, 2 gorgeous dogs and 1 cute friendly cat. And no dog barking, very unusual for Seychelles! The only downside was availability we wished we could stay longer! Book in advance as this place is so fab and such great value for money it books up early!

About the neighbourhood
We are located in the southern part of Mahé, where most of the beautiful beaches are found. This part of the island is known for its tranquility and friendliness of its people. We have a self-catering apartment suite available, as you would notice in the pictures it is very spacious. We have a double/Queen size bed and also in the lounge we have a nice sofa bed which can also be used as a bed if preferred. We have an en-suite shower bathing room. We provide bath and beach towels and linens as needed. The suite has its own private deck and garden area. The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, coffee maker, cooking stove, utensils ect... The whole apartment suite is air-conditioned along with hot water in the en-suite bathroom. We provide DSTV basic package and wi-fi internet (free). We also have BBQ facilities and free parking on site and an outside shower. We have beautiful mountains and ocean view. At the back of the premises we have nice tropical forest with lots of endemic palm trees and birds. We have easy access to public transport, restaurants, cafes, dive center, pizza, clinic, and some very nice and peaceful beaches. The accommodation is about 5- 10 mins walk to Anse a La Mouche beach and 5 minutes by transport to Anse Royal beach.
Getting around
The best way to visit the Mahe island is to rent a car at Euro 35-50 per day. Taxis are available all over the island. They are also available for sight seeing. Public transport is available and is reliable as well. The location of Stephna residence makes it ideal to visit some of the best beaches on the island, with most of them being 10-20 minutes away by car.
