We provide a small range of complimentary breakfast goodies for our guests' first morning. Downstairs, the lounge offers high quality Tessa leather lounge chairs, flued gas heating, High Definition 32' Sony LCD TV and Blu-Ray/DVD player and a selection of movies for your enjoyment. Internet radio provides over 25,000 station choices from around the world and there's a Bluetooth stereo for your own music. Free NBN WiFi suitable for streaming from your own device, internet and email, with great coverage anywhere within the apartment. The bathroom is compact and stylish and there is a separate toilet. The spacious upstairs bedroom has a specially designed lighting system, twin built-in robes and new queen-size bed with high quality pocket spring mattress for minimum partner disturbance and a restful night's sleep. The apartment has its own private courtyard and clothes line. Under-cover off-street parking for guests is provided and is adjacent to the apartment. Nearby there's easy access to beaches, cafés, pubs, restaurants and the renowned Lipscombe Larder - a delicatessen that provides wonderful meals – either ready-to-cook or pre-cooked, as well as a great selection of Tasmania's outstanding cool climate wines and fine local produce. As the area provides the ideal riding environment for cyclists, we offer the use of two TREK FX 7.1 flat-bar road bicycles for those who wish to use them: a 44.5cm men’s and a 38cm women’s... and helmets, of course! We do not allow smoking inside the apartment. The Gardens Apartment Hobart provides outstanding value and is available for stays of between 3 and 14 nights. We offer generous discounts on the published per-night price for stays of 7 nights or more in Peak Season, Shoulder Season and Low Season (click the Show Rates link in the Availability section for details). The leafy, riverside suburb of Taroona is located just south of the Hobart CBD and provides a peaceful setting for your stay. Restaurants, beaches, cafés and shops are all close by. There is public transport available within a few metres of the apartment. Nearby you'll find the historic Shot Tower and picturesque access to the Channel district south of Hobart via the old and little-used Channel Highway. This is the ideal location for those wanting to be just a little out of the hustle and bustle of a noisy city but still be within 10 minutes drive of the city centre. Being relatively level and close to the river, Taroona is both a cyclist's paradise and a great area to walk.
