Spectacular view with panoramic lake front and mountain in the back. Located in a very private gated community only 10 mins drive to shopping area. House is in very good condition and kids love the big lawn. Cant ask for more.

We couldn't have picked a better place to stay!
The Long House provided the most amazing home base for our Queenstown stay. We were a group of 10 consisting of three families and the Long House provided the prefect layout and space for us all to have privacy when we wanted it or communal time together. We couldn't get enough of the 360 degree views and we all enjoyed walks in the peaceful and tranquil gated community. It was so comforting to know that after busy days full of activities and exploring beautiful Queenstown, we were welcomed back to such a lovely home. We would definitely love to visit again!

Stunning location for our family Christmas holiday
The Long House provided us with the perfect 'home away from home' for our family Christmas holiday. The Remarkables and Lake Wakatipu presented an amazing 360° backdrop for our stay, and the house was more than we could have wished for. The location provided us with the peaceful surroundings we had wanted during our stay, but with the ability to be get into downtown Queenstown within 20 minutes. Tastefully and respectfully laid out, the house provided everything we needed, and more. A special thank you to Deborah and David from The Butler, for their care and attention to detail, and for making sure we had the most wonderful stay.

Long House
Fabulous house, fabulous location, fabulous hosts. This is our second time at the house and we love it. Really close to the Remarkable’s ski field in a beautiful private estate with stunning views of the lake in the mountains. Highly recommend to others.

Stunning home in lovely location
We had such a lovely time in this holiday home. Enough space for two families to stay comfortably. This house was well appointed in a beautiful private location. Still close enough to to duck into Queenstown for a visit but far away enough to have your own slice of paradise. Total luxury. We had an issue with the lights going off in the kitchen area at dinner time. Deborah came around immediately to fix this. Great service! Highly recommend.

Too Excellent for Words
The Long House is modern and full of light. The position overlooking Lake Wakatipu is breathtaking. It is really hard to describe this incredible property. It has everything you could ask for in a holiday home, including the Remarkables behind and Lake Wakatipu in front. We rented three houses in Lakeside Estates for our large group of Americans, Colombians and Kiwis attending our Wedding and Family Reunion. The memories we generated during our time here will stay with us forever. The Estates are a private enclave to escape to after a busy day of sightseeing and extreme sports. What an escape

Awesome place...
We visit Queenstown 2-3 each year ... this house is the best so far. Heaps of room, awesome views, great facilities. The boat ramp was the best!!
Marie from The Butler made everything run extremely smoothly ... highly recommended.
The only suggestion if I were the owner ... install some air cond. for the summer months.

Family Stay four generations
Views of snow cpped mountains absolutely amazing from all rooms and directions.. Snow covered mountains, changing colours with rising and setting sun with cloud cover, absolutely amazing. The little park and jetty down at the lake perfect setting for family photographs. Very secure and extremely well equipped for self catering and very relaxing. Just far enough from the Queenstown centre with security gate for entrance. Loved every aspect of this private rental for our week vocation.
