Do not stay here
We had a terrible time with this property. We were unable to change our booking or receive a credit due to COVID, and emails and phone calls were ignored. I would not trust them again. Wotif could not help us, but said it was entirely the property's decision.
The lack of communication is most appalling. Every other venue in New Zealand were responsive and understanding. We didn't want a refund, just a credit or to change dates to the future.

Thank you for your comments. We take feedback seriously, however we are disappointed that you have mistaken your experience with the wrong property. We do not list on Wotif and we have had a very generous COVID specific cancellation policy in place from the start of the pandemic.
Our COVID cancellation policies are as follows, which we have applied to hundreds of bookings over the last couple of years, and which can also be seen on our website:
"In the event of COVID-19 related travel restrictions (a ‘lockdown’) preventing your stay in Queenstown we offer the following:
- We can amend your booking to a new date with no change fee (nightly rate may differ).
- Cancel your reservation and refund the full amount less the NZ$300 administration fee. The administration fee can be credited towards a future booking with Relax it’s Done Ltd at any of our properties (subject to availability).
- Please note once you have checked in to the home no refund will apply, the cost of unused nights can be credited towards a future booking with Relax it’s Done Ltd at any of our properties (subject to availability)."
We have reviewed our reservation system and did not have a booking at Mountain Vista from a Kim (or any other name) in September 2020 from Australia. Can you please contact us to discuss and clarify. info@relaxitsdone.co.nz

Fabulous home
Great views, incredibly well heated and a super spa pool - family of 4 had an amazing time. Our host couldn’t have been more helpful

We had the most wonderful family holiday with all of our expectations fulfilled..the property managers could not have done any more for us everything was attended to with promptness and cheery faces we really did appreciate your attention. Being from Perth W.A and living on our beautiful Swan River it was like home from home with the added bonus of the beautiful Remarkables..we can thoroughly recommend this beautiful home..

amazing
Had an amazing stay. Lovely clean and modern property. was very much as described by the company. great location just out of town. great to have some warm fires after a day on the ski slopes and a nice soak in the hot tub. great facilities and we actually eat in most of the time as we just loved chilling in the house and cooking

Perfection in Queenstown
I found the house online and the whole deal was seamlessly organised. We arrived later than we expected, and phoned the agent to say so, and she was there to welcome us.
The house was ideal for the four of us.
We all had a bedroom each and the house was beautifully equipped and spotlessly clean.
the only slight fault was that there were no suitcase stands in the bedrooms, and for old people to keep their cases on the floor is awkward.
Otherwise it was ideal and we could spend all day just sitting on the balcony enjoying the view and all the activity on the lake below.
we would be very keen to stay there again.

mountain vista
We stayed here over the new years period and it was amazing. The view we had was just incredible. We had a group of 8 people and it was perfect, there was enough space for everyone so it didn't seem crowded, it has the perfect indoor outdoor flow. Only down fall was that it was at the top of a massive hill and a 45 min walk to the town centre, but even then the taxi was only $15 and a 2min ride.

Unfortunately, to get those magnificent views, most of Queenstown's residential areas are up a hill, but am glad this did not deter from your stay and the taxi fare was reasonable.
