Situated on the East Coast of Northland, New Zealand, this place has stunning open views of the coast. Nestled up amongst native bush, we offer superb vistas overlooking Little Taupiri Bay and beyond.
An ideal place to recharge the batteries, take long walks along the beaches, go kayaking, fishing, cycling or simply enjoy the free fast wifi. The quiet and relatively remote location will appeal to people who want to get away from their busy lifestyles and enjoy the peace this place offers.
This is the ideal space to relax and unwind. The house is set up on a hill overlooking the beautiful East Coast of Northland. Really stunning view
Thiy is such a fantastic place. Not only the view is stunning also the house itself and all the things provided. I asked the caretaker where we could by nespresso caps. Answer: why do you want to buy those-they are provided....thank youso much bill for your generous offer to be able to stay here. I keep repeating me: it is fantastic

An amazing location
We wanted peace and tranquility in a very natural 'New Zealand' setting and that was definitely what we had! With every room looking out over the coast you could virtually sleep under the thousands of stars of the dark sky and be woken by the warmth and light of the fantastic sunrise! The sound of the waves against the rocks were very therapeutic.
The house had everything you could possibly need. Bill, the owner, was very quick to respond and supplied a very informative folder about the house and locality. Rachel the local manager was so welcoming and helpful during our stay.
I would so love to return but stay for longer!

AN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING PLACE WITH A MAGNIFICENT VIEW OF THE OCEAN AND NATURE !!!
This place is amazing! My dream came true when I entered this house. You will find there everything you need even more. Complete privacy and a quiet place you will not want to leave! We enjoyed an outdoor workout with beautiful ocean view, where you can find a bench with dumbbells and many other things. We will definitely return :)

Private, peaceful, perfect
Amazing place to spend a few weeks. Idyllic location, on a hill overlooking the bay. Every room has the same fabulous view and wide doors opening out onto the upper or lower terrace. Clean and comfortable. The hot tub in the garden is a good bonus. Much appreciated! The detailed information sent by the owner on booking was very detailed and totally accurate and helpful. Any queries or requests we had when staying were dealt with promptly and satisfactorily.
Highly recommended.

Absolute bliss
First, I would like to thank Bill for making his home available so that families like us can experience his beautiful place. We stayed for 6 nights and had the best time! Everyone was over the moon with the view, the kayaks (saw a penguin), the spa (divine), the gym and even the guitar got played. It was absolutely perfect. After a day out on the bay or in town, we all looked forward to coming back to sit on the deck and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of 'home'. We left reluctantly but it was such a special place it will always be remembered.

Perfection

A real treat for either a couple, a family, or two couples
We have stayed here before as a couple and ever since have been keen to take our grown up kids back here when we visited NZ again as it's such a special spot. Due to the flexibility of this home you have two separate living areas which provided accommodation for 6 nicely. The "two living areas" layout mean this is great for a couple, a family, or two couples, so there is a lot of flexibility.
The home is beautifully laid out with quality furnishings, an awesome view, and best of all provides total privacy in a comparatively remote and isolated location. There is no better place to just chill out and get away from it all, complete with all the luxury you need not to mention the incredible ocean views. Those evenings just lazing on the deck watching the sunsets were just the bomb! And the spa is another added extra since we were there that again has an awesome view.
Bill is very helpful and easy to deal with, and you couldn't ask for a better host. This is our second stay and hopefully won;t be our last!

The Perfect Retreat
Fantastic place in a quiet little area. We booked this place to finish off our two week holiday with relaxation in mind and that's exactly what we got. The views were spectacular, the house beautifully presented and the spa was a great added bonus. Both beaches within walking distance (despite the big driveway) and often to yourself. Everything down to a key was explained in the handy booklet from aircon to TV, from dishwasher to spa. By far the best ending to our NZ holiday!!

Spectacular view and place!
Bill's place was absolutely amazing! The view was spectacular and the location was perfect - close to many beautiful Bay's (Taupiri, Elliott's and Oke). The place was spotless; beds were comfortable - overall the place had everything we needed, plus more (gym, hot tub, kayaks...) We also received a warm welcome! Thanks so much for the fond memories. We would definitely come back.

Great place the best
The accomadations were over the top the view was to die for the owners were in contact with us from the time we booked until we left . We will book again when we return to New Zealand and would like to stay longer. If you want night life stay in town if you want peace and quite and a truly amazing place to stay book this accomadations.

About the neighbourhood
Neighbours are few and far between. The area is extremely quiet and traffic volume is very low. There are a number of locations nearby to launch a boat. There are some great fishing spots on and off the water. Elliots Bay (5-10 walk) hosts surfing competitions and is a popular surf beach for locals. Taupiri Bay (5 min walk) is one of the safest swim beaches in the North. Little Taupiri Bay (across the road) is your own private little bay (although the locals sometimes enjoy it as well). We regularly see dolphins, Humpback Whales and Orca's from the deck of our house!<BR><BR>Guests have access to kayaks, gym equipment including a spin cycle and free weights. You will need a car. The nearest shopping centre is Russell which is 25kms away. There are some beautiful walks in the area including Cape Brett and along Elliots Bay (and the joining bays).
