About the neighbourhood
We are in a lovely rural setting surrounded by attractive farmland. Nearby is the charming medieval town of Josselin with its imposing Chateau. Lac au Duc is an inland lake and beach with watersports and a 9 hole golf course less than half an hour away. The Brest - Nantes canal and River Oust are a few minutes walk away and just a little further on is the Abbaye du Timaduec a fascinating Cistercine monastery which admits visitors. Brittany is blessed with miles of golden sandy coastline on both the north and south coasts, and many quaint , pretty villages. Most can be reached within an hours drive.
Getting around
you really need a car to make the most of your visit as we are about 4 knm from the nearest bus stop, which is the Rennes to Pontivy route.
