They enjoy the playfulness and freedom of line, and see the resemblance of natural forms in the designs. They appreciate the skill required to make such shapes from straight timber, following Nature's design rules."

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
If you have submitted a review for a holiday rental property, we may also ask that you provide us with proof of your stay to ensure that your review is attached to the correct rental property.
Holiday rental reviews collected via the VRBO website (formerly Homeaway) and syndicated to the Tripadvisor website are not currently subject to Tripadvisor’s standard moderation processes.

Bliss
We enjoyed our stay as two couples. It’s rustic and quirky even with its own cobwebs. The view is simply stunning. Lovely and warm with basement fire box . The only down side was the shower. Just go enjoy the ambiance of the place and surrounds.

Inspiring wonderful rainforest spot
I only had two rainy days in the Roundhouse but I enjoyed it very much. Kim is an exceptional host and a great architect, builder, singer, actor, he is really amazing. Roundhouse has a extremely wonderful view of surrounding rain forests and mountains and the interior is perfect. I loved to be in there and the location is also perfect for hiking, biking, riding and fishing. Highly recommended, you will enjoy every minute for sure.

Peaceful and Serene
Arriving for a single night on new years day, The Roundhouse proved to be the perfect recovery retreat inclusive of fresh raspberries from the garden and kookaburra visitors. The stay was topped off by one of the best pub meals ever at the Deloraine Hotel.

What an uplifting, buoyant forest experience.
The unassuming host, Kim Clark, runs a multi room, well equipped 'house' that is a truly cleansing and healing space. All Kim's building are hand built by this very talented artist. Traditional wood crafts are all around you; cured woods, old recycled timbers, structurally challenging roof lines, curved (mud brick) walls everywhere. Clean, easy access, friendly, multinational guests, hot tub if desired, fully serviced and views from every panoramic window. I sat for ages just studying Quamby Bluff. Then Kim offers the ancient Tasmanian Aboriginal history (either verbally or to read) and this experience brings a deeper resonance to what you are watching. This location is perfect if you are travelling Cradle Mountain to Launceston or North West Coast. This place has an atmosphere of healing and calm. My dog was also made welcome! Check out this Roundhouse if you need a day or two off the beaten track, away from other tourists, enjoy spending time in a quiet, sensitive space. Congratulations Kim. What a creation.
