The ensuite bathroom has a large rain head shower and includes complimentary bathroom necessities you'll need for your stay. The two smaller bedrooms are equipped with a comfortable queen size bed and two double size beds, TV & DVD player, fresh sheets, clean towels, and plenty of space to unpack and relax. The common bathroom is shared by the two double rooms and also has rain head shower over full bath and includes complimentary bathroom necessities you'll need for your stay. The top floor is a 150sq.m (1600sq.f) open plan area and includes the kitchen, two living areas, a dining space, and a private balcony. With floor to ceiling windows on two sides, you get great views of the sun rising over the Dandenong Ranges right around to where it sets in Port Phillip Bay. A private balcony overlooks the famous Chapel Street so you'll get a birds eye view of the shopping, restaurants, and nightlife below. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need including all the basics such as kettle, toaster, pots & pans etc. With four major supermarkets right downstairs including the famous Prahran Market every ingredient you might want and some you've probably never heard of are right at your fingertips. If reading is your thing then feel free to grab a book from our personal library and curl up in the other living area, enjoy some great sunlight, views, and a really comfortable couch. It's an easy way to spend a relaxing afternoon if all the sightseeing has worn you out. We will probably be away so we'll make other arrangements for a key to be made available if we can't be there in person. THE NEIGHBORHOOD Chapel Street is arguably the best place for visitors to stay in Melbourne, as it's central and renowned for it's great shopping, restaurants, nightlife, entertainment, and more (please be aware it is a lively street and there can be noise on the weekends). Famous for having the best fashion in Australia ranging from local boutique designers to international top brands and quirky brick-a-brack stores like the renowned Chapel Street Bazaar, it's the place to be if you're looking for something unique and special. A long day of shopping or sightseeing can work up quite an appetite so whether you feel like a gourmet dinner at a trendy upscale restaurant or some quick and easy take out Chapel Street has it. There's no shortage of cafes and restaurants to suit all budgets right on our door step, so many to choose from that in five years we've still not tried them all, ask us for some of our favs. If you're looking to stay fit or enjoy some outdoor activity there's plenty of options available including tennis, basketball, a swimming pool, dance classes, yoga studio, gym, boxing, and that's all just within 100m of our front door. Lots of visitors just want to be entertained and it's easy to catch the latest blockbuster, be part of a national live television audience, or dress up for a night at the theatre. There are three cinemas and two theatres all within walking distance or if you want to see our national news comedy show “The Project' it's filmed live just around the corner and we can help organize free tickets. Getting around If you do need to leave Chapel Street then getting around couldn't be easier with trams, trains and busses leaving from right outside your door. You can get to Flinders Street Station, Federation Square, or Southern Cross Station (in the CBD) in under 10 minutes or over to St Kilda Beach or the famous Brighton Beach boathouses. More
