Your holiday rental is a 3 Bedroom Detached Villa that has sea views and is situated in a quiet development 400 metres from the Mediterranean. The complex itself is in the up and coming tourist area of Ayia Thekla, which is a short drive to the tourist town of Ayia Napa. Here you will find an abundance of bars, shops and restaurants to fulfil all your needs. However, close to the villa there is a Supermarket, bar and restaurant which is very convenient.Motorway access is within 800 meters. Direct access to the villa is via a private drive from the main road. Other places of interest are; beaches within 10 minutes walk, Potomas fishing village and the famous Waterworld waterpark which is a mile away. Just perfect!!!

This is the second time we have stayed in this villa, we absolutely love it. We have children from 2 years to 18 years...this villa is perfect for all ages. Villa is beautiful inside and out. The pool is so spacious for all 7 of us! Including all the inflatables we bring. We would love to come back next year x

Amazing!

Only just come back & already thinking of when we can return! Pictures already sold it to me but they really don’t even do the place justice! The villa is beautiful. Well kept, well maintained & full of everything you need. Added extras such as basketball hoop, table tennis and all games/dvds/Netflix etc is a massive bonus with a child when the weather is a little too much for them! So thank you! The pool was the main factor for us and it was so much bigger than we expected! Cleaned twice a week by some friendly people. A lovely lady comes to check you’re okay and if you need anything within the first couple of days. Bedrooms modern (as-well as the rest of the villa) and spacious with air conditioning throughout. Kitchen is well equipped with every utensil you need and more! Again, the outdoors was where we spent most of our time and the amount of space was just unreal. Table and chairs just outside the kitchen to eat meals and chill out away from the heat when needed. All in all had an amazing holiday and we all felt at home as soon as we walked in. Will definitely return when we can and already can’t wait. 100% recommend! Thanks so much!

Summer Sun

The villa is superbly situated, away from the nightlife life of the town, but easily accessible if you want to go and party. We travelled a a group of 4 adults and 2 kids, outside space was brilliant, pool was a fabulous size and we made good use of the table tennis table. Ayia Thekla Supermarket is 2 mins drive or 10min walk away with a wide variety of products both imported and cypriot. Zafiri restaurant is right next door and offers a good choice of both local and international foods all staff really helpful and nothing is too much trouble. You need a car although buses are quite regular and the stop wasn’t far, Taxi from town/harbour was €15/20 we used LA taxis english speaking lady mans the phones. Visited Potomos the fishing village, very nice little bay with lovely views, we ate at Demetrion restaurant and all I can say is it’s amazing it’s a must visit. All in all we had a brilliant time only thing missing was a dishwasher but we managed 😂 Thanks to Darren for all information prior to arrival and Wendy for checking in on us and of course our little friend Napa the kitten

Great villa

Stayed here for 2 weeks. Cant fault the place. Great size everything you need. Supermarket 500m away beaches the same. Bus stop on the main road. Brilliant holiday. Would highly recommend this villa

Second Time - Excellent Extended Stay

Our second visit to Poppeli, this time we stayed here for an extended 4 week holiday. A beautiful villa with a friendly community. Like being at home, but so much nicer and relaxing. Everything you need to enjoy villa life is here. 10M Pool for cooling down, plenty of outside seating, BBQ, Table Tennis for any budding Ma Long's out there, even a weights bench for an additional spot of exercising ! For indoor life you have everything you need to live as if at home, from appliances to a great IPTV setup and fast WiFi The Sea is just 400M away, and some nice sandy inlets nearby with access to the sea for swimming should you not wish to tread out to the main tourist beach areas. Car advised, but there are plenty of Taxis readily available to jump in to get to Ayia Napa area, and there is a nice little supermarket only a 500M walk where you can get everything you need. I would recommend this villa for couples & families looking for chill time with all needs catered for.

The villa is oustanding, comfortable, fully equipped and fulfills all expectations. Located in a quiet environment that secures privacy, only few minutes drive to Ayia Napa and Waterpark, 5 min walk to the shop. The pool was clean and well maintained and the pool area was beautiful and spacious. Would certaily recommend to anyone. All family is looking forward to visiting again.

The pictures don’t do it justice! Beautiful

Absolutely beautiful, clean and spacious property located in a peaceful area about a 10 minute drive from the heart of Ayia Napa. Perfect for those who want total relaxation and a spacious place to stay. Have been looking at booking again for Summer but unfortunately it looks to be already fully booked! Will definitely return at some point. Very easy to book and be in contact with Darren, also very easy to locate in you are unfamiliar with the area or haven’t visited Cyprus before. Couldn’t rate it highly enough. Thank you

Cyprus Holiday & Villa Review

Great location, great size, pool freezing however there is less sunlight in October and at nights was a bit chilly therefore pool unable to sustain heat. This never bothered me although I never took a dip! My husband and son had short bursts of fun in the pool with long periods of warming up. The WiFi was weak upstairs due to thick walls in villa. TV choice was poor. I felt the villa was “dusty” and a terrible smell from the bathrooms at certain times of the day. However I put this down to it possibly being used less in the off season months and am sure had it been high season the villa may have been up to a higher cleanliness standard. With a little more love and attention this villa would be outstanding ... Although some of my comments seem critical I would recommend and return to this villa. The water park was less than 5 mins drive and we spent 2 days there - outstanding and a must visit! There’s a great hotel a few mins away called Loutsiana and we ate there for breakfast every day and attended one of their entertainment nights and really do have high praise for the staff, atmosphere and of course the food. Food during the whole stay was outstanding and I’d thoroughly recommend Ayia Napa as a holiday destination.

Thanks for the review Laura. I'd like to reply on a couple of points. In our description of the villa we have never claimed that the villa had a heated pool. In general the pool is warm because it's in direct sunshine all day, Late October i can confirm the pool is cooler. We have satellite TV which has all uk channels including movie & sports channels. I'll look into your other points, i have also experienced weaker internet upstairs at times. This is our 15th review all the others are 5 out of 5. That's ok though we're always looking for ways to improve.

Amazing

We stayed this summer and had an amazing time. From the moment we booked Darren the owner was so accommodating. The villa is spacey and has everything you need. The pool is nice and large so fits all 6 of us with plenty of room plus inflatables. The pool was cleaned regularly. The location was lovely. Nice and quiet. Nearby there's a lovely restaurant that serves food all day and even delivers plus a local shop. A short drive and your into ayia napa. Ayia thekla beach is very near and beautiful. We was sad to leave...before we even arrived home the deposit was already returned to us. I can not thank Darren enough for making our stay from start to finish amazing. We are looking forward to staying again soon.

It is far enough away from the seasonal tourist crowds, yet close enough to offer easy access (by hire car or taxi) to an abundance of bars, shops and restaurants. Ayia Napa also boasts some of the finest beaches in the Mediterranean.

How to get there

As you exit the airport you will come to a roundabout, here you will take the first exit left (in Cyprus we drive on the same side of the road as the UK), heading for Limasol (known as Lemesos) and Nicosia (known as Lefkosia). Continue straight on this road (A3). It will take you all the way to Ayia Napa resort. Now follow signs for Paralimni. After approximately 20 miles 45 klm you will see a junction for Sotira & Darynia (no junction numbers I’m afraid). Take the slip road (exit). At the T junction take a Right for Ayia Thekla. After going over the Motorway the road bends round to the left then right and you will come to a T junction take a Right for Ayia Thekla. After 700mtrs on your Right there is a large billboard between two turnings. Take the road that does not have tarmac. This is the Blue Star Villas site.
