Thoughtful distribution of rooms and facilities also make this property an excellent choice for a family or, perhaps, two couples looking to holiday together. On the ground floor the generously sized living/dining room is air conditioned and has double doors to the covered dining terrace and garden; designated by a large American bar the well-organized kitchen to one side also has useful, direct access to the barbecue area.    Enhancing convenience, particularly for sharing parties, an air conditioned bedroom and a bathroom are found on each floor, the principal bedroom on the first floor has an en suite shower room and private sun terrace looking out to the pool and rural views whilst the twin bedroom, on the lower level, is served by a bathroom immediately adjacent. Gently elevated to one end of the garden, a sloping lawn (or a few shallow steps) lead up to the smart private pool where a border of thick hedging adds to the intimacy of the swimming area and surrounds. A large in built barbecue and plenty of space for outdoor dining on the large shaded terrace make al fresco summer living effortless and appealing. Home to a magnificent sweeping sandy beach with laid back cafes and various water sports including pedalos, scuba diving, boat hire and sailing trips, Puerto Pollença (3.4km) has excellent amenities plus a range of restaurants suiting all tastes and budgets from simple pizzas and pastas to fine dining meat and seafood restaurants. In the other direction, the famous Roman town of Pollença (6km) simply must be visited. Here you will find an equally extensive choice of amenities from individual bakeries to large supermarkets, friendly family-run tapas bars to vibrant, high end restaurants, many of which are found in and around the Plaça Major in the bustling and atmospheric heart of the old town.
