Tourism in Roses One of the main tourist attractions of Roses is to sunbathe and take a dip in the excellent beaches of Roses, such as l'Almadrava, Canyelles Petites, the Montjoi cove and other coves in the surroundings, such as Cala Pelosa or Cala Joncols. Very close to Roses and Empuriabrava are the famous Greek and Roman ruins of Empúries, which stand next to l'Escala. The picturesque village of El Port de la Selva or the charming and magical Cadaqués, which has inspired artists of the stature of Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dalí, are other options for a small route by car or boat from Roses.
