I'm sorry, but due to the First Minister's announcement of 23rd February, it doesn't look like we'll be able to welcome guests until at least late Spring this year. We'll keep you updated!!
The Snug is a cosy, detached holiday cottage just a moment's stroll from the beach, and ideally situated for exploring Dunoon, the Cowal Peninsula and the beautiful mountains, lochs and villages of Argyll & Bute.
We are committed to following all current cleaning procedures to ensure that you have a safe, as well as a comfortable, stay.

The Snug is next door to Coach House Cottage, both are detached cottages tucked up a quiet lane in the small village of Innellan. The cottages are ideal for quiet, relaxed 'get away from it all' breaks. With the beach at the foot of the lane and miles of secluded forest walks on your doorstep, they're the perfect base to escape the crowds and enjoy nature.
Originally an old hay barn, The Snug now boasts a bright, open-plan living space with fitted kitchen and sitting area on the upper floor from which there are lovely sea views from the french doors. On the ground floor there is a good-sized cosy double bedroom (with smart TV) and bathroom with bath and over-bath shower.
The village of Innellan lies just a few miles south of the popular tourist town of Dunoon - itself just over an hour from Glasgow. There is a shop, post office, restaurant and village pub all within walking distance of the cottage. The Snug sleeps two in the double bedroom and there is also a sofa bed in the living room.
Children are always welcome and we are happy to provide a travel cot, stair gate and high chair.
Up to two dogs are also very welcome, but please let us know when you enquire that you would like to bring your four-legged friend along with you, thanks!
The cottage is fully double-glazed, has central heating and free Wi-fi. We hope you will find everything you need in the cottage for a cosy, comfortable, enjoyable stay!
*10% discount for all single travellers, please ask for a quote when booking*More
* Pets are very welcome, but please let us know in advance if your 4-legged friend will be coming too! We ask that pets are not allowed in the bedroom, or left alone in the cottage thank you.
* Parking for The Snug is at the large layby at the foot of Trinity Lane (approx 20 metres from the cottage, with streetlighting). As the lane is very narrow cars can't be parked outside the cottage .

We only had two nights to spend here and I wish it had been longer. What a lovely little jewel of a house. It's the best equipped I've ever stayed in. So peaceful and cosy too. Thank you Katie.

Innellan itself is a quiet little village with a community owned shop, post office, restaurant/bar and a lively village hall. The cottages are tucked up a small lane which is next to the sea, and there are a miles of forest walks where you can hike for hours without seeing another person!
There's SO much to see and do in Cowal that it would be hard to list it all here - so if you would like more information on the region, just let me (Katie) know!
Getting around
We're lucky that there's a great bus service with a bus stop only a couple of minutes walk from the cottage. The bus runs into the town of Dunoon and to lots of beautiful local villages, and there's even a dedicated stop at the breathtaking Botanic Gardens.
If you're travelling by car then there are a huge number of possibilities for days out and sightseeing - just let me (Katie) know if you'd like any suggestions.
