The Fisherman's Cottage is a luxurious family and pet-friendly lakeside retreat in the heart of the Midlands. The lodge is quietly tucked away near the foothills of the magestic Drakensberg mountains with beautiful views over a 7ha trout dam where you can go for a relaxed paddle or try your hand at some of the best trout fishing South Africa has to offer. Bass fishing can also be done in another dam on the farm and if you are interested in cattle farming, we are more than happy to show you around. The unique richness of this peaceful part of Africa caters to both young and old. On the northern side, below the little waterfall, there is a pristine natural rock pool where kids can go for a swim, and to the east of the rockpool is a deck on the hill where you can enjoy magical sundowners with...
