It is set on high grounds with magnificent views of the Sicilian countryside and the Iblean Mountains.

A lovely rustic place amidst the beautiful sicilian countryside. One can choose to spend the day in lovely nature walkabouts or get a car to the major hotspots in sicily. Good food practically everywhere and at very decent prices, even in the little village of Giarratana a 25 minute walk away from Il Paradiso. A trip to remember - holiday can be tailored to personal preferences. One last comment - was brilliant to wake up to the sound of the cuckoo!!

So, when you find the electric side (oven and one hotplate) of a mixed gas/electric cooker doesn't work and the owner tells you later she knew about it, but forgot to mention it ... your gas runs out the second day you're there, there are no written notes to help you and the local contact has forgotten there's a second bottle in a shed ... you have a fridge (next to a presumably broken fridge/freezer) that no matter how low you turn it down, will freeze any liquids on the shelves ... well, you get the idea how things operate.
This property could be so much better, but from the response I received when I raised these issues separately with the...

This is a very disappointing review especially after having always received positive reviews from our guests. (Tripadvisor has yet to explain to us where our previous 14 positive reviews have suddenly disappeared on this listing). This guest has listed a number of complaints of which the owners were unawares, since no direct communication about them was ever made during his...
