Fulbeck Garden Cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away for myself and four friends. We didn't want to leave: two nights wasn't enough. The house is so well equipped and in a lovely location. Would definitely recommend.More

Our cosy, country Cottage is private and secluded yet well placed to access the historic City of Lincoln with its majestic Cathedral, newly refurbished Castle and quaint uphill shopping streets.
Also within reach of the Cottage are many market towns, such as Newark on Trent with its exciting new Civil War Centre, Castle and busy market square; and Sleaford, where The Hub (The National Centre for Craft and Design) is worth a visit and is free of charge and the excellent farmers market held on the first Saturday of the month is also well worth a visit. Just down the road are three National Trust properties, Tattershall Castle, Woolsthorpe Manor, and Belton House - which has activities to cater for all ages and abilities, including a brand new adventure playground for the children. A litt...
If you don't want to use your car, then just at the end of the lane to the cottage, you'll find a couple of bus stops (there's another 2 outside the excellent local pub/restaurant and playing field). The A607 is the Lincoln to Grantham road and hopping on the No 1 bus will get you straight into Lincoln with its great cultural and social centres. We can recommend Yvonne's Taxis from Sleaford as a clean and professional local taxi firm and if you are into your cycling, then why not bring your cycles with you to explore the many local lanes and great villages on the doorstep or further afield. There's Cliff Cycles repair centre in the Craft Rooms in the village of Fulbeck or an electric bike hire centre 6 miles away in Navenby
