Condo/Apartment -
2 Bedrooms , 1 Bathroom , Sleeps 4
Prague, Bohemia
2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 2 living rooms sleeps a maximum of 4, beautifully restored late medieval apartment in the heart of Prague overlooking the Gothic Charles Bridge (begun in 1357) with its majestic Baroque statues, the Vltava River and many of the city’s landmark spires.
The apartment is on the 3rd (top) floor of this quiet private house, which has only one apartment per floor. There is no lift but the stairs are wide and easy to climb, with a landing on each floor. Being at the top of the house affords the best views across the city.
The street U Luzickeho Seminare is in the prestigious, historic central area of Mala Strana, Prague 1, a few minutes’ walk from Charles Bridge and from many of the city’s top restaurants, cafes, wine bars etc. However, the street itself is remarkably quiet and peaceful, especially in the evenings.

About the neighbourhood
The apartment is located in a very pretty cobbled street in the area of Mala Strana. There are parks, gardens and the embankment with boat trips minutes' walk away. Mala Strana is the more sophisticated, more peaceful, calm and green side of the river providing a welcome escape from the very touristy hubbub & bustle of the Old Town. Mala Strana also has so many of its own delights in the narrow cobbled streets surrounding the apartment and up to the Castle and Petrin Hills. Mala Strana is the the oldest and most sophisticated quarter of Prague. Mala Strana gained town status in 1257. The Baroque churches and palaces which give the area its charm date from the 17th & 18th centuries.
Getting around
My apartment is very centrally located within easy & pleasant walking distance of all the major sites. If public transport is needed, metro and tram are 5 minutes walk away but are not at all within earshot. Useful advice re taxis and how to use public transport are supplied in the apartment, as are maps and guides.
Car not needed
How to get there
Airport: Prague: 12.0 km
Railway: Hlavni Nadrazi: 4.0 km
Meeting service and taxis from Prague airport or Railway station can be arranged. Parking is not possible in the street or nearby as all of Prague 1 is restricted to residents only. However, there are paid parking garages, the nearest of which is some 5/6 minutes walk away at Rudolfinum Concert Hall. There is no need at all for a car during stay as every important site is within walking distance.
