Just walk through the pines forest in 5 min and you are at the beach. The very center of Palanga is 20 min away on foot, playground for children is 5 min away on foot. The building is freshly built and all is brand new. Through your window you can see the pond. In the terrace/balcony you can enjoy your morning with a cup of coffee and quick wifi. Or you can listen to the sea :) Also, 5 days at us in summer mean 2 free days at us in non-season.

Overpriced, not as described, awful customer service
Long post alert! We were visiting Palanga last weekend and booked this apartment for myself and husband through hotels.com. When looking through pictures on the room it looked like we were getting a large room with double bed, kitchenette and a sofa (just like sofas pictured everywhere on tripadvisor too). A day before arrival I rang up to enquire about a few things and was informed that sofa in fact was not included. In a very rude way I was told that I should of paid attention reading the room description which didn’t include the sofa. It was slight disappointment as I was going off pictures but thought we would be ok. We got to the property very late at night in the dark and went straight to sleep. As soon as we laid down on the bed my husband found long black hair on the duvet (I’m blond so not mine). In the morning as we woke up hubby wanted a hot drink, we started looking around and realised there was nothing in the kitchenette. No tea/coffee/salt/sugar. This basic things have never been included in the description of any apartments or hotel I ever booked through multiple platforms but until this location I have always found at least a tea bag which are normally left as a courtesy. We paid 120€ per night! It was one of the luxury stays in Palanga! We expected a service for 120€! How much does a tea bag cost .10€ ?! Carried on checking the place out and felt major disappointment. In the kitchen we had 1 frying pan provided, of course no oil to cook on so useless as who will be buying a whole bottle of oil to make 3 breakfasts!? Previous tenants must have felt the same as the pan was all burned and scraped. The sink in the kitchenette is worth a special mention. It’s a small (1/3 size of standard) sink in which a plate doesn’t fit with a huge high tap installed thats positioned by the edge of the sink so water splashes everywhere on the worktop and the floor. I spent more time cleaning after than washing anything. In the bathroom we had the worlds smallest mirror parts of which obstructed with the window blind.... There was 1 small packet of shampoo and 1 soap left for 2 people for 3 nights, it looked like previous tenants left it behind and it was just left for us..just like an almost empty bottle of shower gel. I wasn’t sure if people were sharing their toiletries like Airbnb or cleaners didn’t bother cleaning everything because toiletries weren’t on description either. Anyhow the last to mention is the bed. Made of white faux leather covered in dirt on the bottom and yellow make up stains on the top. Very soft mattress and huge square soft pillows, was not a comfortable sleep at all. At first I didn’t say anything as I didn’t want to ruin my holiday but on our 2nd day I got a message asking how I found everything and if we slept ok. That day we were celebrating in law’s wedding anniversary so I got back to the property the following morning and mentioned the lack of teas and coffees. They said it wasn’t on description so why would they put anything as a courtesy. I was offered a free night in November as a compensation (didn’t ask for compensation in my message) but I live abroad so that wouldn’t work plus who goes to seaside in November. I asked if there was alternative they could offer and no one responded. On our last day I got a call from them as I messaged to find out about check out because we weren’t given any instructions. The woman on the phone (same I spoke to a day before arrival) was another level rude. She said she heard we weren’t happy with some things and I said yes I mentioned a few things in response to their message. She offered the free night in November again and I said we lived abroad so that wouldn’t work. She asked what I wanted and I asked if she could give some money back. To that she started THREATENING ME saying that she was recording a phone call and I was terrorising her demanding money (please note I never asked about compensation and when asked what I wanted I politely asked for some money back which is absolutely normal !) . I couldn’t believe my ears!!! She was shouting at me and saying nasty things that I made up about the hair on the bed! I said I wasn’t going to carry on with the phone call as she told me to leave remaining 20€ in the room for cleaning (we paid upfront minus cleaning fee). I said I didn’t feel the room was cleaned for us so wouldn’t want to pay that and she said she would call police on me if I didn’t leave the money!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HONESTLY THE WORST HOSPITALITY EXPERIENCE AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID p.S their advert states they are located 500m from the beach but that’s if you measure straight line on the map, in reality you have to go around which is double the distance and takes 20min.

Brand new apartment near the beach
I loved staying at Seaside apartments, where everything is so brand new, cosy and stylish. Also, the beach is so near. Owners were also very heart-warming and friendly. I am definitely coming back!
