Accommodation in the heart of High Tatras with capacity of 6 persons. Cosy and comfy apartment with "at home" atmosphere, 3 separate rooms and beautiful views of High and Low Tatras mountains from 2 balconies. Ideal for mountain lovers, active people, families with children or group of friends.
What is available for you? The space of 71 m2 with 2 bedrooms (including baby bed) , living room with sofa bed and TV, kitchen with cooking amenities, dining room. Kids can play in the nicely decorated corner with toys, adults can entertain with books and games. Information about High Tatras and maps are available and I will be happy to give you tips on trips, hiking, skiing, cycling, sightseeing... or provide guided tours, arrange mountain guide. Tatras lovers basecamp
This place is a perfect starting location for any hiking, skiing and mountaineering. Great service, little cost and the owner who loves mountains as much as you do. Don't be shy to ask the host for an advice where to go and how to get there. We've spent a weekend there, put on our ski boots right at the apartment building and walked towards the adventure. Lovely apartment and a good sleep.

Good seletion
There is a lot of accommodation in High Tatras and it is not easy to get oriented among them. I selected this based on the location, facilities and easy going communication with owner. Totally good decision, apartment is big, comfortable and very well equipped, ideal for longer stays. Views are just stunning. Location is very convenient, close to all main attractions, restaurants, funicular to Hrebienok, with ski slope just across the road. Smokovec is probably the best starting point for walks and hikes. Tram stop is in front of the house so you can easily get to Strbske pleso or Tatranska Lomnica.

Beautiful place
Great place offering plenty of comfort with lovely host ready to help with everything. Close to all main attractions. Excellent starting point for hikes. I will definitely come back!!!

Perfect large comfortable apartment in such a great place
great place to stay for whole family,
- excellent view (from two balconies)
- nice and clean (bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen..)
- very comfortable and very quiet flat
- great location-everything is very close - you don't need to use a car much
- swimming pool and wellness in hotel just across the road
- The owner Katka is very nice and helpful :)

Nice and cozy
Horalka apartment is very well located in a close proximity of everything you need in High Tatras. There are many opportunities for hikes directly from Smokovec. In case you would like to take a train for different departure point for your hike; the train stop is really nearby too. Apartment itself is really nice,spacious and got everything you need (well equipped kitchen, storage room, dinning place, sofa, TV etc.) In case you are traveling with smaller kids, you'll find that flat has everything you need too. As for the bonus we really enjoyed marvelous views from this apartment.

winter wonderland
Very nice and clean apartments, with amazing views directly from your bed when you wake up.
Apartment is placed on perfect place with everything what you need. It was our second time what we stayed here and for sure we will come again.

Homely atmosphere for very fair price
This place is very welcoming, you feel like at home. Perfect location with stunning views.
We left our car at the parking space and used the train for 3 days. The train station is located 100 m from the apartment. We did not miss anything, neither our 3 Kids. Toys, Coffee, Tea, sugar, slide. .. Many basic things you need but do not want bring from home.
For us best choice, becuse of service, location, price and homely atmosphere. Looking forward next trip to High Tatras.

Beautiful flat in the heart of Tatra Mountains
We loved our stay at Horalka flat. Spacious clean very functional with the homey feel to it. Excellent location, 5 mins walk to the ski lifts, 2 min to the mountain tram stop- from where you can get to other lovely places of High Tatras like Strbske pleso or Tatranska Lomnica. Flat was very well equipped from the kitchen appliances to staff needed around household with small kids- kids bed, high chair. Big windows offered breath-taking views of High Tatras mountains. Flat was well planned- bathroom and toillett separated. 1 big bedroom, living room with flat screen tv and sofa bed, and - small bedroom. Quiet place where one can recharge batteries, far away from busy mountain resorts, yet with all comforts liitle town Stary Smokovec can offer ( shops, restauramts, swimming pools, and last but not least great skiing with ski schools for kids)
Thank you Katka for being a wonderful attentive host, we will come back!

Novy Smokovec is situated in the center of National Park of High Tatras (TANAP), in the altitude of 1018 m, under Slavkovsky Peak. Apartment is located in Novy Smokovec and very close to the center of Stary Smokovec - the famous and popular funicular to Hrebienok is less than 1 kilometer from us. Closest ski resort "Jakubkova luka" is just 450 meters from accommodation.
