A super stay at a lovely property
Justin is not a Superhost, he is a super Superhost! From the minute we first contacted Justin I knew that everything would be just as it should be and it was. He was in touch constantly (without being intrusive) during our stay with suggestions for dining, trips etc and all recommendations were ‘spot on’. We particularly enjoyed dinner at Propeller, Bread in Common and having a cheeky glass of Chardonnay at Mrs Browns bar.
The house is in a wonderful location and the sunrises were perfect over the river. We were able to walk miles along the river path and although we didn’t do it, there are several little river beaches which would be lovely to sunbathe on and swim in the very clear waters of the Swan river. The ocean beach is a 10 minute walk away; didn’t really like having to cross the Stirling Highway on foot but once over the other side, the beach is lovely, long and very clean with the softest, cleanest sand and a specific dog area off to the right. You can walk to Bib and Tucker which overlooks the beach for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The sunsets are amazing from all aspects of the beach.
The house had everything we needed including a new washer and dryer and plenty of space and utensils for cooking our own food.....a lot of which we bought from the Boatshed, a wonderful shop a five minute drive away in Cottesloe. Fantastic fresh produce including fish and wonderful meat. The property is in a very quiet residential area surrounded by other lovely properties and the balcony is a marvellous spot for watching all the river activity.....dolphins regularly and even a seal one morning; it’s the perfect spot for a morning coffee or an evening sundowner.
It’s an easy 5 minute drive into Fremantle or you can use the bus or train service which is a five minute walk away.
We wholeheartedly recommend this property and would have no hesitation in staying again should we visit this beautiful part of the country.
Also, the property has the best hot water system I have ever come across!

Ideally located for family holiday
The location was ideal for a mixture of Grandparents, Son and teenage grandchildren. Access to the river, beach and transport network to Fremantle and Perth was less than 10 mins walk but amazing views from the balcony and terrace. The mild winter weather (summer by UK standards) meant we could enjoy the sunrise over breakfast from the balcony.
Justin was very helpful before and during the trip with suggestions and recommendations for things to do in the area.

View and position fantastic
Justin was a very helpful and welcoming host and his place was just what we wanted. The view of the river was especially beautiful in the early morning. It is well situated to Fremantle and in an up market recent real estate development.

Great views, great host
This house has outstanding views and is in an excellent location. Justin is extremely helpful with suggestions for outings. day trips, restaurants etc.
We really enjoyed our stay.

Great view and good vibes
Justin was a supreme host. He is super friendly and very generous, dropping in coffee and/or wine and always available for a chat. The house has a lot of character and the views are breathtaking. The area around the house is great and this is walking distance to lovely eateries, beaches and glorious views. Thanks, Justin for a great stay.

Fantastic property, highly recommend!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay On River Front in Nth Fremantle. Fantastic location, with amazing views of the Swan River from ground floor, not too mention an easy stroll to the pristine beach! Also a nice park right around the corner & direct access to the Perth/Freo bicycle track. Having the bikes on hand was great too!. The home is spacious & well equipped including a pantry stocked with basic essentials. A good WiFi connection & Netflix just a bonus. The hosts are very friendly, helpful & easy to contact. Will return again for sure, thanks Justin & Jean

Wonderful!!
This place is magnificent!!! So accessible to Freemantle and the beautiful beaches of Perth with easy access into the Perth CBD. I don't think you can get closer to the Swan River and surrounds. Justin and Jean are gracious and helpful hosts and nothing was too much trouble. They were fantastic with our rather spirited kids and had some great sightseeing ideas and suggestions. The accommodation is comfortable and safe and the view is better than the pictures. We will definitely be back!

Simply the best!!
We LOVED staying at Justin's! It really made our holiday in Perth... It's a true escape from my hectic urban life in Singapore and it felt so relaxing having a big space to spread out - especially with the stuning river view. I loved waking and having coffee on the terrace every morning overlooking the watr and boats. You're a short walk from some cute cafes like Bib & Tucker on Leighton beach. We actually didnt have a car, but found it super easy to get around using uber. The three of us had quite a bit of work to do over the holidays, so we would take short excursions out to Fremantle and Cottesloe, and everything was 10 mins away. In between we were just content to enjoy the house with our laptops!
We took short walks along the bicycle path and walked down to the river for swims The kitchen is fully equipped, and we did some light cooking with produce we got from Boatshed (fantastic deli/grocer) and the Fremantle market. The living room is comfy and all the bedrooms are great too. Our floor (It's a 3 story house and we had the bottom floor with our own entrance) had 1 washroom facility for us to share, but the toilet and shower are two separate rooms, so that is handy.
Before our stay, Justin was incredibly communicative and helpful, sending useful tips and a really handy map with all the attractions and good restaurants in the area. I felt very comfortable and well looked after before and during our stay. He really can't do enough to help, whilst also being super respectful of privacy etc. The perfect host! Justin is the epitome of a gracious, caring host - and a truly wonderful human being. His partner Jean is exactly the same, and getting to know them and their gorgeous doggie Indi really made the stay very special.

Beautiful stay. Stunning view with very friendly host.
Our stay was absolut stunning. We had a great time in Justins wonderfull house. The place is exactly as described. We had the whole ground floor for our use and it was absolutley perfect also with kids. There is a nice play ground just around the coner and other options are available within walking distance. The view from the second floor terrace which we could use was enormous. With some luck you can see dolphins in the mornings. Justin is a very openminded host always open for a small chat or tip for your activities. Would I stay there again? Of course! It would be my great pleasure. Thanks again.

In a private cul-de-sac with almost no car traffic – just local residents.
Small " Village" setting of only approx 40 homes in an exclusive enclave
- all homes are similar, multiple-level private residences.
Home is very safe & secure. Fully alarmed & all doors/windows key-bolted. Security film to glass at ground level.
Private access via locked gates with a high Boundary Wall around entire property.

2 minute walk to regular “circle-route” BUS Stop on Stirling Hwy.
5 minute walk to North Fremantle TRAIN Station – direct to PERTH CBD in 20 minutes, or to the heart of Fremantle in 2 minutes, just 1-stop.

No Smoking inside the home or on the property, including the external courtyards and the balcony.
All persons staying in the home will incur a cost per person over and above the base price, which is set around two people staying only. This includes babies and toddlers.
Please request in advance of booking if more than one guest car is proposed to be parked at the home.
Minimum age for the principal guest responsible for the booking is 30 years.
Please request in advance if booking on behalf of other persons proposing to stay at the home, eg if booking as an agent or on behalf of friends/associates. Instant Booking is only available to people that are personally staying at the home.
Guests are required to provide photographic ID and sign our standard rental agreement in advance of arrival, which simply incorporates these home rules and the home details as per the Trip Adviser listing.
Please note that use of the home is limited to the people that are directly part of the booking. It is possible to provide exceptions on this for family and close friends visiting, but please request in advance of booking. Given the home is in a premium location, we simply need to be respectful towards our neighbours re any potential disturbances.
The home is available for short-term rental only. Please request in advance if you wish to stay over 14 nights. Instant Booking on is only available for reservations for up to 14 nights.
We love Pets, but please do request in advance of booking. There is an additional charge for pets of $25 per night payable after the booking confirmation. A pet cleaning fee is payable of $75, to respect future guests who can be very sensitive to pet hair re-allergies etc.
Instant Booking on is only available to people without pets. If you wish to bring pets, please simply request in advance.
The home is set up for use by a family group or a couple. The home perhaps does not suit larger groups of single people. Please request in advance if your group comprises more than 3 single people. Instant Booking is only available to a family group or a couple.
