We stayed here for 10 days. Close to airport. Far from port. Very roomy had all the amenities needed. Washer worked ok the dryer not so much. Took 3 hours to dry a small load. Occasional bugs crawling around. Friendly iguanas in back yard, love...More

We stayed here for 2 weeks for business and then returned 2 weeks later for some R&R. It has a great location to the airport and to Belize City. Also the view is really relaxing. I would recommend this place.

About the neighbourhood
The property sits on a private estate near the historic landmark known as the 'Haulover Bridge'. We are on the edge of the Caribbean Sea and the Belize Old River is literally a stone throw away. We are conveniently located midway between the International Airport and downtown Belize City (5 miles on either side). Therefore, we are close enough to the City to benefit from all the conveniences of the City yet far enough to enjoy peace, quiet, privacy, and seclusion which the City is unable to offer.
Getting around
Free secure parking is available on site. Regular public bus transportation is available to and from downtown Belize City for less than 1$ each way and passes the property on a regular basis (around 30 minutes apart) between 5 am to 8 pm daily. See Belize Vacation Rental also provides a dedicated transportation service at $2 per mile to/from the Airport, around the City or elsewhere. Current vehicle fuel is at US $5.85.
