Are you in need in Adventure? Have you ever dreamt about washing up on a deserted island? Wouldn't it be great if the island had a cool cabana, a bathroom and a bar/restaurant to serve you? You can still go out and catch your own lobster and fish. Then we as your hosts can clean it and cook it up while you sit and drink a rum punch. We will make sure you will always remember your experience here. Have a different vacation than all of your friends. Hideaway Caye is a secluded mangrove island. Interaction with guests
We as owners live on property to prepare your meals and be your tour guides to the neighboring reefs and cayes. The cabana is secluded and nestled away from everything. The bar and restaurant is opened to the public. You can always strike up an interesting conversation with a passing sailor. While walking on the walkways you will encounter wading birds, fish swimming throughout, an iguana sunning in the trees and 2 lazy dogs that stare at you. As for humans you won't encounter many.

About the neighbourhood
Hideaway Caye is nestled in the south end of the South Water Caye Marine Reserve which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The area around the caye has many pristine reefs. The snorkeling is second to none. Kayaking around the protective reefs is abundant. You could explore for days. When you wind through the walkways you will see the birds wading in the water, fish swimming around, iguanas perching in the trees and 2 lazy dogs staring at you. As for humans, there aren't many.
Getting around
FAQ: *What is included? Transport to and from the island, meals, snorkeling gear and kayaks. Bar tabs are extra. *Is pick-up always at noon? Times can vary. Wind picks up in the afternoon. Relax and spend a night on the mainland in Hopkins before you board the boat to Hideaway Caye. *How long should I stay? Most think 2 days isn't enough. To truly decompress, unplug, snorkel and kayak we suggest 3-4 days *Can I bring more than 2 ppl? The cabana has a queen size bed and full size futon. The rate is for double occupancy. Each additional guest is $100 US per person per night. *What should I bring? Sunblock, swimsuit, water shoes, snorkel gear, snacks and your adventure. **Please let us know in advance if you have any food allergies.
