The Whaleshark Bungalow -A Serenity Beach Cottage- is an elegant tiny beach bungalow. This "tiny" house is fully furnished with a spectacular ocean view from the living area and screened in porch. The living area has a comfortable chaise love seat sofa, air conditioning, and a TV. It has one bedroom that features a queen size bed, luxurious linens, air conditioning, and a full closet. The closet is concealed by a mirrored barn door. The home's beautiful bathroom features granite counter tops, a glass vessel sink, and a spacious shower with rain shower head. The full kitchen has plenty of storage space, granite counter tops, and stainless steel appliances. The screened in porch has a small seating and dining area for watching the dreamy Caribbean sea.

Perfect tiny home by the sea
Whaleshark is all a couple needs! Let’s see…Air conditioning, full kitchen, living room with comfy sofa, tv for those chill days and rainy days, comfortable bed, spacious closet, gorgeous bathroom, right off the main road but a ridiculously short walk to the water and easy access to the laundry. Also a five minute walk to Neptune’s restaurant and the dock to go into town. Snorkeling paradise. Secluded. Well manicured lawn. Cheri and Derek are sweethearts. It was everything we needed and wanted. We owe Cheri and Derek a million thanks for their superior hosting skills and love they put into their work.

Relaxing and Wonderful Accomodations
My husband and I stayed at this property for an extended weekend for our 37th anniversary. Cheri and Derick are the most pleasant people and very customer oriented. The transportation is a breeze with them which is a great way to start a trip! The Whaleshark house is wonderfully decorated in a beach theme but also all the nice touches-plenty of towels (beach ones and ones for makeup) and toiletries, all necessary kitchen items with small packets of coffee even. The filtered water spigots in the bath and kitchen were a surprise. They even have tomato, basil and other little plants around the house for guest to enjoy (speaking of the outside-it's beautifully landscaped and the view straight to the ocean is awesome with a well maintained dock and beach area). The house was very clean and smelled fresh. Anything we had questions about, dinner reservations, transportation, etc. They were great and responded quickly. They even helped us find and recover (delivered it to us) a phone left on the plane which we figured was a lost cause. I would highly recommend them for this property (this is the smaller one since it was just my husband and I) or there are two larger houses on this same property with the same amentities.

Awesomeness!!!
Wonderful beach cottage. Wake up to the most amazing private ocean view. Cheri and Derick are fabulous host and proud of the their beach front oasis as they should be. Enjoying every second of our first class accommodations as our host make sure everything is in place and anything they can help with. A very special place. Thank you Cheri and Derick for this special experience.

Island Oceanfront Paradise
The Whaleshark bungalow is nestled on a beautifully landscaped and manicured property with beautiful views of the mountain coastline of Honduras some 18 miles away across the blue waters of the Caribbean Sea. Some of the best snorkeling is steps away, as is Neptunes for drinks and eats just a short walk up the beach trail. Once inside the cozy confines of Whaleshark a flat screen smart tv will keep you occupied along with the WIFI while a stray passing rain shower waters the landscaped grounds. Modern appointments in the kitchen, ceiling fans in every room and a screened in porch if reading your favorite book is your thing. Transportation and virtually anything you need is provided by the host and hostess with the mostest Derek and Cheri. This 5 star Utila property is peace and tranquility that comes highly recommended for the individual or couple that want just that!
