The attention was excellent, people were very kind, attentive and helpful. Excellent views of the city and the quito's volcans. Very close to everything, excellent access to transport and the main roads of the city, it had all the security measures and the corresponding protocols for the care of the guest. Super comfortable suite with all services, the stay was very pleasant. Too they offer turist trip and tours to many sites in and out of Quito. I hope to return very soon.

Spacious urban apartment in a nice neighborhood
The booking was for a studio, however, a current renter extended their stay, so we were offered a very nice 3-bedroom, 2-bath apartment for the same price. The apartment and studio were in the same complex, so the location comments are applicable to both. The apartment was spacious and well-appointed. Plenty of seating in the living and dining rooms for 5-6 people. The kitchen had the expected appliances and utensils. We arrived after 11 pm so we greatly appreciated finding bread, fruit spread, fresh fruit, bottled water, and coffee. Each bedroom had plenty of closet space with a comfortable full-size bed. One bathroom had a shower, the other had the largest bathtub I had ever seen. Also a washer-dryer combo. The complex felt very safe, with a gated entry. The neighborhood also felt safe. My 22-yr old daughter made multiple solo trips to the bakery and ice cream shop without incident. As a first time visitor to Quito, I was surprised by the steepness and the neighborhood definitely sits on a slope. This allows for great views as you step outside the gate. The host, Sandra, was great. She offered numerous travel services, including airport transportation. Since she lived in the complex also, it was very convenient. I plan to return, and this will be my first choice as the place to stay.

Fine location in Quito, but especially great hostess!
Because previous tenants extended, we got another larger apartment. A lot of space for two persons, and some fruit and bread and water were waiting for us.
Sandra is a wonderful hostess; we had booked several trips with her, and they were excellent. She knows Quito well and she knows a lot about the country, the inhabitants and the fauna. Very helpful and attentive: she often stopped the car before I knew I would take a photo there ... She showed us Lake Quilotowa, Mindo, the Guyasamin museum, the Quito city and Cotopaxi. Wow, she knows it all!

Amazing stay in Quito
Beautiful studio! The city view was amazing from the room. The owner is very kind and accommodating. Thank you so much for your warm welcome and for always being helpful and at service when needed (even for the silliest things). The room is very cozy and comfortable. Quito is such a beautiful city, wish I could have stayed longer than three days. I will definitely comeback in the future!

Great place for Your Ecuador Base...
Stayed here for a month and used this as my base to explore the Andes and the Amazon head waters. I talk about it on my website Snorkelgeek. It's a great deal and the wifi is strong enough for me to run my business back home. I make a lot of internet calls. Sandra's Bro is an oral surgeon and teaches dentistry at the university it worked out well for me to get my teeth cleaned and a cavity filled for less than a hundred bucks. The view is amazing...

Perfect Quito apartment and hostess!!
I stayed 8 days in October at Sandra’s studio apartment. The apartment is very efficient, has all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, and is very affordable. It is located in a safe and convenient neighborhood in Quito. Located just steps from public transportation, both taxis and buses. It is a very short walk to a fruit market, convenience store, and pharmacy. A 15 minute walk will take you to a very nice super market and then you can take a $2 taxi ride back to the apartment, there are lots of taxis just outside the super market. A $5 taxi ride will take to La Ronda Street or the historical center of town where there are many shops, restaurants, museums, and cathedrals. You are also a short taxi ride to the La Foch neighborhood with shops, restaurants, and a lively nightlife. If needed Sandra can arrange a taxi for you at a specific time for pick up. The view of Cotopaxi from the apartment is unbelievable.
As a traveler I have stayed in many lodgings where the owner is on-site and Sandra is absolutely the best hostess! When inquiring or booking the property or just needing questions answered Sandra is very responsive. She is very attentive and knowledgeable in all aspects of Ecuadoran life and culture. She has a background in the travel industry and can arrange and/or host daily trips within and outside of Quito. She personally led me on a day tour of downtown historic Quito, a Saturday trip to Octavio and the outdoor market, an afternoon trip to Mitad del Mundo (Middle of the World), and a trip to Quilotoa to hike inside the volcano to the crater lake. She can also help with suggestions if you want to explore on your own by taking a very inexpensive bus ride to Mindo in the cloud forest or to other sites reachable as a day trip. She is fluent in Spanish which makes her a perfect personal guide if you do not speak Spanish or have a limited vocabulary. I highly recommend staying at her studio apartment or her 3 bedroom apartment just below the studio. I loved my stay here and will certainly stay here again when returning to Quito.

A wonderful hostess can improve and experience
Upon our arrival we were warmly greeted by our hostess who offered many suggestions to expand our experience and improve our stay. She maintain contact with us throughout our stay ensuring everything both at the apartment and on our vacation experience went well. Her suggestions were valuable and helpful.
We can easily recommend this vacation apartment as a very positive experience and an excellent place to stay.
If we were to return to Quito, we would definitely stay here again.

Woderful owner who goes a step beyond for renters to that everything just right.
Conveniently located, this very clean apartment has all the necessities for a great stay in Quito. Very fast Wi-Fi. Plenty of hot water for showering and pleasantly decorated. I recommend this apartment to any person or couple.

Bakeries, fruit stores, coffee shops, parks, restaurants and banks within walking distance.
SUPERMAXI : big food-market, 12 minutes’ walk away.
Cooking will never be easier with all the fresh local products you can get just around the corner.
Parks and green areas are just at 4 minutes away. Early Zumba lessons, jogging, walking. Great for kids as well to burn down all that energy!!!

We don't recommend renting a car in the city. Traffic is hectic and parking not always available. Besides local transportation is very inexpensive.
QUITO COLONIAL, 15 minutes away (2.50$ taxi ride).
QUITO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT : FREE for stays over 5 days. For shorter stays : $30 US fits 4 persons, $50 up to 6 persons. about 45 minutes away. Please book in advance.
Easy access to local transportation in and out of the city. Taxis 24/7.

1. - FREE on stays over 5 days. For shorter stays 30$ (same as a taxi.
2. - A cab about 30$ US. Always CONFIRM address and fare before getting in. About 45 minutes to get here.
3. - AERO SERVICIOS BUS : Costs $8 US. Get a map of Quito at the information counter. This bus will take you to the old airport in Quito.
There you need to take a taxi to the apartment (15 minutes away). Cost 5$US, CONFIRM address and fare before getting in. Total ride, about two hours.
