About the neighbourhood
This is one of Sofia's oldest neighborhood's and we are right next to one of its historic monuments built in 1882. Just like the city itself, the area is a mix of old and new, busy and relaxed. One of the main shopping malls is five minutes away and there are many restaurants, both posh and more traditional, as well as a multitude of small shops and businesses.
You can reach the heart of the city by walking for about 12 minutes, the Independence Square, Sveta Sofia Church and main promenade - blvd Vitosha. Other attractions like the Aleksandar Nevski cathedral, the Parliament, Sofia University and the Monument of the Russian Army are two stops away with the metro which you can take from Opalchenska stop.
How to get there
We are an eleven minute walk from the Opalchenska subway/underground station of the main line that comes from Sofia Airport's Terminal 2. You can take public transport near the station for one stop and arrive on the square itself. If you are coming from the Central Train Station or the Central Bus Station you can take the metro southbound and get off at the NDK stop. The apartment is 11 minutes away from there by foot.
