Our May 2017 experience in this apartment was outstanding. The owner Mark, and the onsite manager Michelle were great to work with and answered all our questions and concerns quickly and accurately. The apartment was AMAZING as were the views! Everything was very clean, great bedrooms and it had all the items needed to stay for a week or longer....

I stayed in this apartment with my family in July 2017. It is a quite beautiful apartment: well equipped, very clean and located just off the main pedestrian street in St Wolfgang. There is even off-street parking just outside. It's a minute's walk to the main square yet is not at all noisy at night. Can't recommend highly enough.

You will be greeted by Michelle who is locally based and is very helpful (a Kiwi with 40 years+ in Austria) - language wasn't an issue . St Wolfgang

The historic and picturesque village of St Wolfgang is located on the North shore of the Wolfgangsee lake in the Salzkammergut Lake District area of Austria.

The village is full of quaint and beautiful painted buildings, many kept in the same family for centuries. There are many artisan shops selling hand-made candles, soaps, glass items, Lebkuchen (honey/ginger cookies), plus traditional lederhosen, dirndls, etc.

St Wolfgang is a village for all seasons, from skiing in Postalm in Winter (25 mins by bus or car) to parasailing or water skiing on the lake in the Summer. How to get there
Airport: Salzburg: 60.0 km
St Wolfgang is a 45 minute drive from Salzburg Airport, which is served by frequent Ryanair flights from Stansted. A taxi from Salzburg Airport will cost around EUR 90. The bus from the airport is much cheaper (a few Euros each), but takes about 90 minutes. All the usual hire car companies operate out of Salzburg Airport (out of the front of the terminal and across the car park). We always use Hertz. It has a discount arrangement with Ryanair and, although not the cheapest, we have found them reliable.

Munich Airport is two hours away and an easy drive - motorway almost all the way.

You can drive from the UK - it takes about 15 hours from London, including the ferry crossing, or 13 hours using Eurotunnel. Speed Ferries are probably the cheapest. Once on the continent it is a f...
