Villa Avana is a funky, functional villa.
There were two friendly staff who cooked breakfast daily and cleaned the villa daily.
The decor was eclectic and quirky.
The villa was difficult to find on our arrival as there is no signage and the numbers do not run in any sort of logical sequence. After help from a passerby, the staff were there to meet us on our eventual arrival and gave us access. We stayed there with our two children aged 11 and 12. Although small in overall size, the villa was large enough for our short stay.
Downsides of the villa were the noisy water pump at night, the ugly lounge in living area (though personal taste) and the fact there are no DVD players. The wifi was also unreliable at times. The toilet is open to the elements and therefore allows mozzies into bathroom.
