Not worth it
Beautiful cottages for a peaceful retreat, no mobile signal. But the road to madrugada is not worth the trip. Secondly, the property is now managed by the owners very dumb girlfriend with zero professionalism.Cash only, Wifi is limited to 1G. 15USD per meal.The girlfriend was 1hr30min late for check in and wasn't present for checkout. Sent a WhatsApp message a day later after I checked out charging 15USD for a meal that was supposedly on the house.Does she expect cash payment via WhatsApp?

Hidden gem for sure
Beautiful tranquil place. The host was so nice and helpful,even took us to a bush walk where we found a beautiful waterfall.Perfect for a romantic get away.Loved it!

How to get there
With own vehicle: (4W drive recommended, doable without).
From Mutare take the Bvumba Road and follow it for 17km. Turn left onto Burma Valley Road, after 2km turn right onto a dirt road signposted towards Eden Lodge. Continue past Eden Lodge and drive for another 2km turn right taking a small road into the forest and reach the lodge after 300meters.
(Without vehicle): Transport / pickup can be arranged.
