Eine wundervolle Wohnung !!! Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr sehr wohl gefühlt..... Wie unser zweites zu Hause. Die Wohnung ist komplett mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Schöne, liebevolle, persönliche Einrichtung. Sehr sauber und zentral gelegen. Die Reinigungsfrau arbeitet sehr ordentlich. Der Pool ist riesig und sehr gepflegt. Wir haben ihn täglich mehrmals genutzt uns waren fast immer allein im Wasser. Die Anlage ist sehr ruhig und wird von netten Wachmännern rund um die Uhr bewacht. Dennoch liegt sie sehr zentral. In 4- 5 Minuten ist man am Strand in Flic en Flac und auch der Supermarkt SPAR und die Restaurants sind zu Fuß schnell zu erreichen. Marie ist eine wundervolle Gastgeberin die sehr bemüht ist das es ihren Gästen an nichts fehlt. Der Kontakt mit ihr per Mail oder Whats App war super nett und sie gab uns jede Menge Tipps und Infos für unseren Urlaub. Vielen Dank Marie für eine unvergessliche Zeit! Ganz besonders loben müssen wir den Manager RODNEY der vor Ort immer für uns da war. Jeden Morgen kam er zu uns und hat sich erkundigt ob alles ok ist. Bei allen Fragen und Wünschen half er uns. Er ist ein wundervoller, netter Mensch und ohne ihn wäre es nur halb so schön gewesen. Wir vermissen ihn! Danke Rodney!!!!!! Leider waren zwei Wochen schnell vorbei und wir mussten Abschied nehmen. Wir können die Wohnung, Marie und Rodney 100% weiter empfehlen! Wir kommen wieder...........

Excellent communication and service!
Ok, so we didn't actually stay at this beautiful property because we were blocked by a cyclone and had to cancel out trip. BUT, we still wanted to write a review just to let others know what a great experience we had with the owners through the whole process! From the beginning Marie was super quick at responding, and she answered all my random little questions about the local culture, transport, food, etc wonderfully, as well as offering all her local tips about where to go and what to do! We were SO excited to stay there, but when we got blocked by the cyclone, Marie and John so graciously refunded us our full amount, no questions asked. We had great communication with them the whole way through, and WILL be traveling to Mauritius again someday, and when we do, we'll definitely stay at this beautiful home!

Amazing stay.
On arrival, everything was arranged, clean and very need. The villa is perfectly situated in the complex and right opposite the pool area and on the ground level. it is in walking distance from the beach and other critical areas.
We enjoyed our stay to such an extend that we will go again. the owner double checked with us to ensure everything was ok. It make such a difference if you are in contact with the owner.
It was a big pleasure to stay at the Villa.

All the comforts of home, but in paradise
We loved our time at the villa, it was clean, comfortable and presented beautifully and from the moment we arrived we felt at home. So much effort has been taken to make this holiday house feel like a home.
We were so happy that we decided not to go down the resort path, as we saw much more than we ever would through hiring a car and travelling around the island. The villas location is central to everything whether is be a drive into Port Louis or up into the mountains . Flic en Flac provided us with great hotels for the occasional fancy meal, but the real delight was experiencing the local food cooked by local people!
We visited nearby Sugar Beach Resort and Tamarin Bay, but nothing could beat relaxing by the pool at the villa with no crowds, local food and a cocktail.
Having 24/7 security gave us peace of mind and the onsite maid and villa manager went out of their way to make our stay memorable and the owners John and Marie were always contactable and obliging when it came to assisting with our requests
Can't wait for our next visit!

Perfect retreat
We had the most relaxing stay at "our island home" flic en flac. Location was great, easy to get to beach shops and restaurants. The pool was Devine to sit beside whilst drinking a nice cocktail and dive in to cool off. We felt very at home in the super accommodating villa. Everything we needed plus more! The hosts are lovely to communicate with and very helpful with anything we needed. We were more than comfortable. Thankyou for having us. A++

Nice place to relax
The place is equipped with a wireless internet connection. housekeeping very neat and clean.. walking distance from restaurants, shops, medical care centre, pubs etc... we enjoyed our stay there and will surely come back ...
The owners are reliable and very helpful.. Casela world of adventure is only 5 mins away, ;)

About the neighbourhood
The Community/locals are friendly and eager to help. Flic en flac is both a residential and tourist area. There is plenty to do and see. The streets are safe and the beach area is covered by CCTV and there are plenty of restaurants along the promenade. The vendors on the beach are very clean and they are well supervised by the tourism authority ..Great shopping. Nice supermarkets. There is another shopping complex at Cascavelle less than 5 mins by bus or car. Very frequent bus services to Port Louis the capital of Mauritius and other districts.

walking, organized tours, public transport (buses) taxi or car hire, cycling.
If you want to stay local everything is there to enjoy, however if you want to see more of Mauritius a taxi car rental, tour operators. There are. buses interchange to different parts of the island.
Island tours and water sports can be recommended by us or local tourism agents.
Horse riding, snorkeling, scuba diving and all water sports are all accessible.
