The house can easily accommodate 2 families (2 adults/2 kids) and an additional 3-4 persons. (EXTRA CHARGE per night will apply for more than 8 persons)
Guest Access
You will have access to the whole house (kitchen, living room, terrace, garden, rooms, bathroom, except for the garage.
No problem with access upon your arrival! The house has a live-in maid who will receive you upon your arrival, and check you in. She will also clean the house daily, but will only change your towels, every two to three nights.
PLEASE NOTE:
Additional / optional maid services (apart from daily cleaning) such as cooking and washing the dishes for you are NOT INCLUDED in the rental price and could be agreed with the maid in person during your stay paying modest ADDITIONAL GRATITUDES to the maid in-person and only cash. However, this applies only if you wish to use the additional services of the maid and is of course optional.

If you have any questions, feel free to send me an email, call me, or you can always ask the maid. I am not around in the island while you are renting the house, but I am only a phone call, or email away.
The Neighbourhood
Contadora Island:
Contadora is best known as a place for enjoying peace and tranquility, with little or no party scene (except for public holidays), locals benefit from endless relaxation. The beaches and beautiful landscapes make Contadora one of the top places in the world to visit.
Exploring the Beaches
One of best things to do in Contadora is to explore and enjoy one or all of the many beaches. Whether you are looking for sea shells or a romantic walk at sunset, working on your tan or getting comfortable with a good book, there is a bounty of public beaches all within walking distance (we have direct beach access to Playa Cacique) from our beach house. The beaches are clean, safe and are the jewel in the crown of Contador.
Island Activities:
Walking Around:
Contadora Island is only about 2 kilometres long, making everything a walking distance away. The streets are lined with street lights and the pathways and trails offer an adventure when exploring Contadora. Island life is always more relaxed and Contadora boasts a safe, quite, "tranquillo" atmosphere.
Scooter and Golf Cart Rental:
Offered on the island are two-seater, gasoline powered golf carts for rent as well as personal scooters. The rates for these vary from 40$ per day to 90$ per day, depending on the size of the cart or scooter. Enjoy the Island with your own mode of transportation and explore all that Contadora has to offer.
Snorkelling, Diving and Whale watching Tours:
Join the daily snorkel tour that leaves at 10:00 AM, with Roxanna and Guillermo from the Coral Dreams Dive Shop. A myriad of colours and marine life await you. Gear and drinks are provided. The tour usually lasts about 3 hours. Bring your waterproof camera!
Supermarkets / Food:
The Island has 2 small supermarkets (basic stuff only, no fancy or imported food). It does sell wine, beer, soft drinks, juices, milk, ice, & some basic food such as rice, pasta, potatoes, vegetables, cheese, ham, eggs, sliced bread, canned & dry food, and some frozen food as chicken, meat etc. They also sell other articles like women's hygienic pads, toilet rolls, kitchen paper rolls, napkins, cleaning materials, etc.
However, the price tend to be double price compared with the prices of Panama City and the offerings are limited. (If you need recommendations on how to shop for food & beverages in advance of your stay and need to know how to get it to the island let us know in time and we can help you out).
The Island has 3-4 restaurants of which 2 offer pretty good food (Italian & german restaurants called "Tortuga Italian" and "Gerrard Seafood")) as well as some restaurants offering only basic stuff such as club sandwiches, hamburgers, pizza etc. (mainly in the day time).
Other Things to Note
Free transport from Contadora airport/ferry dock to the house.
You can reach Contadora by Plane, Ferry, or Helicopter.
