We loved staying in this 3 bedroom traditional Japanese house for 3 nights. It was located in a nice lane way/arcade just around the corner from the subway station. The house was fully self-contained with ample towels, toiletries and bedding provided. Bedding was on tatami mats on the floor (which were comfortable enough) and the doonahs/duvets were fluffy and comfy....

The Komachiya is a well maintained machiya representing a tasteful mix of old & new Japan. We loved the tatami mats, antique furniture, sliding doors, Zen garden. We also love the modern amenities (full kitchen, air conditioner, washer/dryer, TV, modern toilet & bathroom, iron, hair dryer, laptop, Wi Fi, cordless phone). We enjoyed our stay very much. The townhouse had everything we needed. A lot of thought had gone into what people may need. We liked the ambience and decor.
