This building was built in 2015 and the owner welcomed their very first guest in 2016. The exterior as well as the interior of the building are well maintained and up to standards.

Home away from home
I had booked this holiday apartment thru one of the booking portals. There was no direct communication with the owners. I was very anxious because our flight Air Sri Lanka lands at 430am and check in time was quite late. But the owners rose up to the occasion and assured us that if vacancy is there we shall get our room. We reached our accommodation around 6am and after some delay the owner woke up and showed us our room.
The room was on the first floor air conditioned, large well appointed with an en-suite toilet and balcony with a view of distant sea and lush tropical greens. All the cooking apparatus and paraphernalia was provided for with tea coffee sugar milk etc.There was a washing machine refrigerator and ironing equipment. We requested the land lord for an electrical adapter for our system and was readily obliged. Breakfast on order(10Euros each) was excellent. A taxi was arranged by the owner of the property for sight seeing (150 E for the day). We stayed for a night and moved out only to return three nights later.
This time the room was on the ground floor smallish with a small toilet without any shelves or hooks. The kitchenette served its purpose. Sleeping space was a bit cramped.
The property is situated on a steep climb and not suitable for senior citizens or walking. It is about 1 km away from the West road and 2-3 km away from few shops which one might need to visit to buy grocery. The supplies arrive in the afternoon and therefore visits should be in the afternoon.
All short comings were exonerated by the excellent helpful friendly attitude of the property owners. Who never let you feel that you are away from home. Always ready to help be it electrical adapter or an umbrella or two. Smiling Roy and Juliette won our gratitude and sincere thanks for making our stay comfortable.
Suggestions To the owners 1. pl install a call/door bell, 2. some shelves/hooks in the ground floor washroom.
