Lovely cabin with a great view of the valley. Many reviews on other websites that rent cabins or rentals. Cabin has approximately 1400 square feet and is stocked to fill all your needs including high speed WiFi, Direct TV, phone, Blu-Ray player, fire pit and more. Hiking trails and fishing pond only a short walk away. Each season has its own beauty. Nine state park areas within a 20 mile radius of the cabin including Greeter Falls, Stone Door, Savage Gulf, Collins Gulf, Natural Bridge, Buggytop Cave and so much more. Thirty minutes from Manchester or McMinnville. Come and experience them all.

Stunning views, spotless cabin

This is a stunning cabin to get away from it all for a few days. Beautiful, clean, and secure place for a solo traveler or a couple. The hosts are wonderful—available if you need anything, but not at all intrusive. The guidebook in the cabin is thorough. The location is centrally available to lots of stunning hikes and trails, yet the cabin itself is private. An added plus: allowing dogs. Wonderful getaway for them, as well.

nice little cabin with a great mountain view

This is a great pet friendly cabin with a great view of the mountains in the back. It's well kept and very clean.

Spring Break in Altamont

Kim and David’s cabin is amazing. It was sparkling clean and had everything we needed. The views were breathtaking and their info book was an encyclopedia of knowledge not just about the ins and outs of the cabin, but about the entire area, where to hike, eat, etc... We were so impressed and had a fantastic stay. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Sunrise Mountain Cabin

We rented the beautiful cabin for 3 nights with another couple and we were all blown away with the Sunrise Mountain Cabin. We had a spectacular view and very little traffic. Exactly what we were all looking for! The Wi-fi worked great. The free DVD library was amazing, as was all the amenities the cabin offered. We brought all of our food for the trip as we drove in and there was a convenience store about 12 minutes away for anything we may have forgotten. Our host Kim and David gave us a personal tour of projects they had worked on and each of us fell in love with both of them! They could not have been nicer or more accommodating!!! They even told us of a watering hole to visit to cool off on a hot Saturday! IT WAS GREAT! The cabin and the hospitality were perfect! From a scale of 1-10 they were a 20!!! We loved it so much we booked a return visit before we left!!! This is a cabin we will forever love and visit over and over!!!

Had a great stay. The cabin was lovely and the view was spectacular. Place was clean and orderly. My daughter wants a house just like it.

Wonderful stay

We had a fantastic time, weather could have cooperated a lot more but the cabin was more than spacious for my family including our dogs. Thank you for being such accommodating hosts and we hope to come back someday (when warmer and dryer).

Perfect Getaway, gorgeous views, big cozy cabin, with all the extras and allows pets.

The cabin was perfect, cozy and big. The view was breathtaking. Wonderful wrap-around porch has a swing facing the view. Owners even had the pantry stocked in the full kitchen for people like us who didn't think to bring food. It is pet friendly, and our fur babies loved it too. We'd definitely love to go back. Do realize that there is only one restaurant nearby, so go prepared to grill out and cook in the kitchen.

WONDERFUL Place

The views are just unbelievable. The cabin is very comfortable and always clean. We book anytime it is available and we are in the area. Kim and David are wonderful host and make you feel so welcome . Location is very convenient.
