From booking to arrival to stay to departure to follow up, we were delighted. Clean, well stocked, plenty of hot water and a plethora of local information made the Tower the ideal spot for our independent threesome. I can gladly offer an unconditional recommendation. Many kind thanks to Paul and our greeter, whose name I still cannot pronounce or spell...

Trogir is such a lovely place to stay that all visits there would be memorable, but staying in the Venetian tower made our visit really special. Ideally located in the heart of this intriguing and beautiful town, the Tower had everything we needed. The short-walk to the market and supermarket and the well equipped kitchen meant that we cooked our...

Management response:

You are right, Trogir is an intriguing place. Sometimes you can peep through the Venetian facades and see parts of Roman buildings behind. Its fun to stroll around the city and imagine the crusaders trading their silk and spices from the east for the gold and jewellery made in the tiny local shops.

About the neighbourhood
The Venetian Tower is located in the heart of the 2800-year-old bustling market town of Trogir on the Dalmatian Coast. Every corner of this UNESCO World Heritage island city of Trogir, sometimes referred to as “The Stone Beauty”, is within a few minutes walk.

This includes the old stone mainland bridge, the bridge to Island Ciovo, many good restaurants, cafes, bars, art galleries, shops and Main Square where live music is played most evenings during the season. Due to the narrow alleyways and polished stone streets cars are restricted to one road. Island Hvar, Brac, Bol, Split; Krka waterfalls and many other local beauty spots are easily accessible from Trogir.

Opportunities include scuba diving, sailing, canyoning, rafting, quad biking, walking, mountain biking, paint balling and water...
