About the neighbourhood
Ouarzazate is ???? name made up of two words, 'Ouar' means without and 'Zazat' means noise. That is why the people of the region chose to call it Ouarzazate, which means 'without noise'. It was built in 1920 on a military barracks set up by the French protectorate at the crossroads leading to the oasis of the valley of Draa. From there to the Western Sahara and oasis Valley Cicada on one side and the Eastern Desert on the other side. Ouarzazate has been the cities quiet, built on the valley Zat which lacks even the most basic necessities. This region is characterised unique to contradictions of Morocco. These include snow on top of the mountains, sand dunes, barren deserts and green oasis. The sources that are not depleted, dry valleys and the most famous Thirst Valley. It is also the land...
How to get there
When entering Ouarzazate City, there is the Studio Ecla and a Gas Station. When you reach a roundabout, do not go straight. Turn right into the way to Tifoultoute Kasbah and when you see the Kasbah, keep going down to cross the bridge. When you have crossed it, keep going until yu cross another small bridge. After 100 m from the second bridge, there is a sign of Sarayas which guides you to the place!
