This property is located on Mobile Bay and across the street ( .5 mi) from the beautiful sugar sand beach of the Gulf of Mexico. A boat ramp is just up the road to put in your small boat or jetski. Or put your kyack in right off the dock.
The washer and dryer are located up in the shed with beach chairs and toys. The cottage has a large screened porch with a large picnic table. It is the perfect place to pick some crabs and shell some peas, and watch the kids try to catch fish or crabs on the pier in the shallow waters of the bay. Time on the shore
We absolutely loved our time at the cottage in Dt Morgan. Very clean, quiet and relaxing. Will go again.

Perfect combination of old charm with modern comforts.
Just spent three days and nights there with my wife and two daughters. If you are looking for something with nostalgic charm but updated with all the modern comforts and conveniences, and impeccably maintained and cleaned, this is it. The beach is just far enough that you probably don't want to walk back and forth from the cabin but throw the beach chairs and umbrella they provide in your trunk, drive down one short road, and you're at a QUIET beach away from the crowds at the resorts. It was no problem to run back to the cabin when my daughter needed to use the bathroom and then right back to the beach. The owner was very hospitable, quickly responded to all our inquiries, and offered great recommendations.

Relaxing Week
We really enjoyed staying in this cozy cabin. The bay outback was beautiful and we were able to sit on the dock and watch jellyfish and crabs float by. The beach and a few hiking trails are very close by and it was so nice to go out for a few hours and come back to relax. The atmosphere is welcoming and there are plenty of notes and tips to make your vacation great. Would absolutely stay there again!

Peaceful, homey cabin on bay near Gulf beaches
We loved this cabin! I hung out on the wayside dock with a crane next door while watching beautiful sunsets. The Gulf beaches are close by, easy to access, and not crowded. The cabin reminds me of what Gulf Shores used to be like before all the development on the beach. This is a wonderful site for a family vacation.

I had a great time
I had a great time. The location and scenery were beautiful, the cabin was well furnished and comfortable, and Debbie was very friendly and helpful. I will likely stay here again, and I would encourage others to consider staying here too.

Quiet, peaceful, away from the hubub.
From booking to enjoying our stay, Debbie was a pleasure to deal with. Thank you Debbie for allowing us to enjoy your place. We fished off the dock and enjoyed a peaceful relaxing stay at Debbie's. We went to Gulf Shores to attend the Shrimp Festival but found we enjoyed our stay at the cabin even more. Everything we needed was in her camp. All you need for a stay is food for the refrigerator.

It was extremely peace full
This is a great place for peace and quiet private dock to relax and fish not far from things to do much better than being cooped up in a hotel room and the beach was right across the street and not very crowded there cabin was perfect has everything you need to just get away from everything if your looking for peace and quiet my wife and I truly loved this place and we will return

Tranquility at its finest
I don't even know where to begin. I can start by saying we don't leave until tomorrow and I wish we were staying longer. I am writing this in the calm of the evening from the back porch. The fish are jumping in the dark, the crickets are chirping and I can hear the gentle lapping of the waves on the Bay.
Debbie's home is so cozy, charming and relaxing, I feel like I have been swept away by the serenity. By the way, I just loved the party lights :-)
This home is close enough to everything and we did do some sightseeing. Yet it is far enough away from the hotels and busier streets which is what we were looking for. If you just want to get away from life and be in your own thoughts, this is definitely the place to be. I saw the sunrise, and the sunset. They are both equally amazing to see from your own dock with a cup of coffee or a cool beverage. The pelicans were awesome to watch as well as the fish jumping right in front of us. We caught a few blue crabs and some smaller fish. We even had a visitor on our dock who liked to steal the fish we had just caught. Just amazing!
Thank you so much for sharing your home. I don't want to head back.

The best gulf experience ever. Never wanted to leave!
Went in June with my 11 yr old, 13yr old and spouse. The cabin is amazing. It is homey, comfortable, and the location, I believe is the best. It is like visiting an old friend. The dock out back is ideal for fishing, crabbing, meditating, hanging with the herons, and anything else you could want. My kids spent hours out there. Across the street is veterans beach which was always uncrowded and clean. Anything you could look for is within a fairly short distance. We went to the alligator farm, fabulous restaurants, parasailing, snorkeling, shopping, wildlife center, and more. Even my tweens loved it. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. Debbie was quick to communicate to answer any questions we had and gave us some great suggestions for places to go. Definitely will be going back.

We are located half way down the Fort Morgan peninsula, on the shores of beautiful Mobile Bay, across the street from the Gulf of Mexico. This cozy two bedroom cottage offers a private pier and beach right out the back door. The Gulf is a 1/2 mile away. The area offers lots of golf courses, water parks, zoo, restaurants, USS Alabama, Pensacola Naval Flight Museum, Historic Fort Morgan. This home is idea for a couple that wants some privacy or a small family looking for an quiet, affordable vacation.
