Escape to our fairytale cabin, on 27 secluded, private acres of gorgeous forest on Lake Wedowee. Soak in the hot tub, bake a pizza in the wood-fired oven, snuggle in the porch nest swing or stroll down the river road to swim or kayak. Hike to Wolf Creek and pan for gold. This gorgeous cabin is inspired by the original 1840s rock chimneys-found in the forest—built with reclaimed heart of pine, stained glass & cedar from the woods. Guinea fowl live on site.

Charming oasis with a top notch aesthetic!
I went to the Fairytale Cabin a couple of weekends ago and I can still feel remnants of the deep peace I found while staying there. My friends and I wanted a little magical cocoon to really disconnect from the world, and let me tell you what! Fairytale Cabin does just that; it's like driving up to your own personal charming oasis, away from everything that stresses you out. (There is great wifi there though!) We slept three (a full sized air mattress fit very comfortably in the kitchen area) and everyone gives thumbs up on the comfort, beauty, and quality of everything. We went on hikes, kayaked, did yoga on the entertainment deck, soaked in the hot tub, utilized the flat top grill, and sat outside as much as possible to soak up the tranquility. The magic of this place is only magnified by the beautiful craftsmanship the owners put into every surface, every nook and cranny. So many textures and colors! Everything has a story, and I love that the welcome notebook has a brief and fascinating history of the property within it. A perfect distance from Atlanta - you know we'll be back! Absolutely recommend!
