It is located on the top of the hill overlooking the beautiful valley of Pocares Portalon and Playa del Rey. The house is a 2 minutes car drive from stores, restaurants, and other facilities; however, the location is as quiet as it gets in Manuel Antonio.
Manuel Antonio Beaches are considered some of the best beaches in Costa Rica.

Great place to stay
We have stayed in this property on a number of occasions now and will be staying again in the future.
The location is perfect for peace and quiet with great views and there is plenty of wildlife in the surrounding area. Capuchin and squirrel monkeys are a frequent sight.
The house is comfortable, clean and very well equipped.
Both Quepos and Manuel Antonio national park and beaches are a short. drive or bus ride away.
Eladio is lovely and always at hand if you need any help.
I can't praise this house enough, well worth a visit!

The house is great location from town, easy access for taxis & transfers, amazing views from all windows and porches. Pool needs updated plaster but very clean. Eladio is the best at everything. Monkeys. Iquanas, deer, fruit trees right there. Will be back.

Very private house great for families
We went to the national park and took the trail to the beach to see the monkeys. The house is modern with a well appointed kitchen backed right up on a preserve. The monkeys came round in the morning. And there are iguanas at the pool. Just right for traveling with four teenagers

Amazing place to stay
I have stayed here a few times now and will stay again in the future.
I love the quiet location, the views and the house is a good size.
The pool is a bonus as is Eladio who looks after the property. He is a lovely man and extremely helpful and polite. I hope to see him again soon!

Roomy house in the jungle with a view-great for teenagers
Just a ways off the main road to Manual Antonio, this spacious home had a very well equipped kitchen which we appreciate because our kids don't like to sit in restaurants. There were enough separate rooms and areas that each person could have a private space if needed. There was even cable TV! Great pool too. We appreciated the air conditioning and saw monkeys in the trees, iguanas by the pool. I would book it again.

Excelente Casa, privada y hermosas Vistas
Viaje a Costa Rica con mis amigos y la pasamos increíble, la casa muy grande, limpia, con vistas padrisimas. La casa cuenta también con una piscina de buen tamaño con el agua muy limpia siempre. Te recibe don Eladio el cual muy amable y excelente Host, ya que ni cuenta te das que vive abajo por qué respeta tu privacidad. Hay que mejorar el wifi ya que no tiene muy buena recepción pero en toda la casa y aveces con muchos usuarios se satura. Pero en generar muy recomendable la casa

Viajé con mi familia y mis hijos una bebé y un niño de 9 años y fascinados con la piscina. La casa super linda, cuartos cómodos, cocina hermosa, todo al alcance para pasar un excelente fin de semana en familia. Solo salimos un día a la playa de Manuel Antonio, el resto no hizo falta porque en la casa disfrutamos al máximo. Super recomendada para pasar un excelente rato. y Eladio (quien cuida la casa)una gran persona que nos recibió de la mejor manera y super servicial a lo que se necesitara, de lo contrario ni se sentía que estaba en la propiedad por que el vive aparte en un cuartito. No se asusten con el camino para llegar a la propiedad porque no pareciera que ahí hubieran casas pero la verdad super privado el lugar.

Great property
I visited this property with my parents and siblings and we had a great time. I thought it was great for the money. Amazing views and a very roomy house with a great kitchen/living area. The pool was great too. We had a great time.

Great house with amazing views, fun pool, good set-up.
We were really surprised as we drove in off of the main road in Manuel Antonio and headed up a small side neighborhood on a narrow dirt road to the very end to this jewel- maybe 1 mile. It was the dry season but if it was rainy, I think the road would be scary. We were in a 12 passenger van. The house has a great location and view- My kids (5 of them 13 down to 2) spent so many hours in the pool. We would come back from the beach, use the outdoor shower and hop in the pool for hours. When my kids would wake up (sun came up at 5:30) they would just run out and be swimming at 6:30 a.m.! The caretaker was very available and sweet to our family. This is not luxurious and I think it's important to know the beds are not 5 star nor is the bedding, but it's great and truly an amazing experience. The iguanas poolside were so fun to watch and the rooms stayed nice and cool w/ the ac on at nights if needed. We were there during an unusually hot time. We cooked dinners to save money and the kitchen is well stocked for large groups. Loved it so much! My parents also came and there were basically 2 master type rooms w/ ensuite and then a kid room w/ 2 sets of bunkbeds. Great find!!!

Beautiful!!
I have been going to the West Coast of Costa Rica for the last ten years. This home is beautiful and very spacious. The care taker, Elodio, was there to welcome us and help us if we needed anything. He never came up to the house or the pool unless we went to find him or leave. The pool was definitely the icing on the cake. The terraces on the upper level had awesome views. With the home being located on the East side of the hills of Manuel Antonio, it was a perfect location. Privacy at the end of the road, but very close to the heart of Manuel Antonio and minutes from one of the nicest beaches in Costa Rica.

You can find the house easily with Waze or Google Maps by searching “Villa Amanecer”.
Coming from Quepos: Take a left on the entrance at Villa Lirio, (which is right beside the Manuel Antonio School in Manuel Antonio or right in front the Cozi Language Institute) and drive for 1 k. or 0.6 miles past the point when the asphalt ends, keep going on the gravel road, until the road gets narrow. You will see our signs on the road. There is also a sign for Villa Grande, follow that also. The road ends at the house (The Sunrise Villa). You will see a gray metal fence with the shape of a V.
The care taker of the house will provide you with keys.
