This is the perfect spot from which to start your daily explorations and adventures! If you are looking for a laid back, carefree and peaceful atmosphere, then this little cabin / Plettenberg home is right up your alley. The open plan lounge and kitchenette are bright and airy and comfortably furnished. There is plenty of seating in the living room, which includes a single bed. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, side pedestals and satellite TV. A small bathroom consists of a shower, hand basin and toilet, while a second new, spacious bathroom with a large shower is a few steps away. The kitchen is fitted with an under counter fridge, a gas hob and a prep bowl - the water is solar heated. The cabin is situated behind the main house and has partial views of the hills and mountains (see pics). The smallholding is only 1 kilometre of gravel road from the N2 highway and sits in the most beautiful natural scenery; we are committed to preservation of the natural flora and fauna. From the lake deck (a short walk to the edge of the property), perched high above the lake, one can admire the breathtaking views, indigenous vegetation, the mountains, lakes and birds. There is plenty of secure space for your bicycles, boat and trailer, surfboards, SUP, or any other toys you may wish to bring along! This is an ideal lock up and go cabin for the relaxed traveller who is keen to go sightseeing or adventuring during the day and wants to come back to a comfortable little home away from home! More

Interaction with guests
We, Jane and Don, are sociable hosts and are more than happy to suggest where guests can find good restaurants, or help plan a sightseeing or adventure sports itinerary. Guests are welcome to join us for a relaxing sundowner on the lake deck to listen to the birds and admire the views while the sun sinks behind the mountains. We are, however, also very respectful of privacy.

About the neighbourhood
Langvlei Dunes is set within the Garden Route Lake District and SANparks conservation area. Oysters R Us and Timberlake (offering crafts, cheeses, eco activities and delicious meals) are just around the corner, while there are several bird hides around the lakes. The pristine beaches and forest walks are plentiful, and if you are an adventure sports enthusiast, mountain biking, surfing, paragliding, canopy tours and kayaking are all on your doorstep. The Sedgefield Wild Oats Farmers' Market is an essential diary entry for Saturday mornings if you are into fresh organic produce, decadent delights and slow food. The neighbouring craft market is filled with hand made treasures and interesting delicacies.
Getting around
There is no public transport, so one would need a vehicle to explore the area. However, there are several tour operators who would be happy to collect you for a day trip.
