This amazing townhouse is ideally located in the charming traditional village of Burgau at the edge of the SW Alentejano Natural Parque. The short walk to the sandy beach takes you downhill through quaint narrow cobbled streets with small shops, restaurants and past a slipway with small local fishing boats. The house has a sunny veranda overlooking the lovely pool area and also a small roof terrace, providing plenty of sunbathing possibilities.

Patio doors lead from the comfortably furnished living area and also from the well-equipped kitchen to an attractive sun drenched patio and pool area with BBQ. The 2 en-suite bedrooms are upstairs. A gorgeous end of row townhouse located in a quiet cul de sac with no through traffic and with free parking.

The front door opens into a small hallway with the ground floor shower room and toilet on the left, while on the right a staircase leads to the upstairs bedrooms. The hall opens out into a lovely bright comfortably furnished lounge with TV and DVD player and a dining area with seating for 4. Large glass doors open from the lounge to the patio and private pool and there is a lockable door from this area that can be used to access the country road outside.

About the neighbourhood
Burgau is at the edge of an extensive Natural Parque, a protected area of outstanding natural beauty and there is a cliff and coastal path near the house which stretches for miles, that is a great bonus for walkers.
Burgau is a small traditional fishing village that is full of character with very friendly people, brilliant weather and a gorgeous sandy Blue Flag Beach. It has lots of restaurants serving the fresh fish as well as international, Italian and Indian foods. With so many beaches along the beautiful coast you will be spoilt for choice as regards scenery, foods and wine. Inland Monchique and Silves have local delicacies and traditional crafts and a slower pace of life.
Getting around
Everything in the village is in walking distance, as is the beach.
There is a regular local bus for travel to nearby Lagos and Luz and some other local beaches.
Excursions can be booked locally for ZooMarine and waterparks.
Boat trips can also be booked locally for dolphin watching, cave/grotto visits.
