Such a beautiful home, I expected smaller due to the photos, but it was much bigger, an far more beautiful than the photos shown us. Lovely owners, made us very welcome. Nice garden , would be gorgeous during summer months. Comfy and modern design. Quiet town, but that's what we were looking for anyway. Great area for hiking and surfing

We spent a week in Laurel Lodge. The owner was very helpful and we felt as confortable as at home. There is no easy way of travelling with teenagers, but my daughters were really happy there. About the neighbourhood
Letterfrack was founded by Quakers in the mid-19th century. The village is 15 km north-east of Clifden (15 minutes drive) on Barnaderg Bay and lies at the head of Ballinakill harbour It is located at the foot of Diamond Hill and boasts stunning scenery.
The village has a supermarket, three pubs which feature nightly traditional Music sessions, three restaurants and also a Furniture College. There are several walking trails and numerous isolated beaches within a ten minute drive.
The two most popular attractions in Connemara are Kylemore Abbey and its Walled Victorian Gardens and Connemara National Park.
