Interaction with guests:Â We have our own House Managers who lives on site (in a separate apartment beneath the villa). They are on hand for any help and advice. Can give you recommendations, arrange cooks, extra cleaning, transport and day trips if required.

Great facility particularly for groups in a beautiful part of Spain.
Located a short distance above the fray of the town of Nerja gave welcome privacy. Lots to do in this area including beaches, caves, Alhambra, mountains. The house manager and her husband exceeded expectations for helping our group have the best vacation. Would definitely return should the opportunity arise.

Perfect villa for our family holiday.
We spent 2 weeks at this beautiful spacious villa positioned near the picturesque Frigiliana and a 15 minute drive to the nearest beach ideal for our family of 8 adults and 9 children who all had a wonderful time. We all loved the pool and the table tennis table and tennis court were well used with floodlights available when needed.
Within a half hour's drive is a waterpark and the nearby caves are well worth a visit.
Gill and Derek the property managers were not only there for emergencies( eg a child locking herself in a bedroom! ) but also went out of their way to make sure we were having a lovely time and really enhanced our enjoyment of the holiday.

This venue was for a wedding party , finally catching up with friends and family after getting married during covid times. The venue was just perfect - so clean, amazing facilities and just such a fun place to party. Gill and Derek were incredible throughout, nothing was too much. Always a smile on their faces. Thank you so much. We were all very sad to leave!! 5 stars and more xx

Lovely spacious villa!
On the hillside between Nerja and Frigliana you find this amazing villa, perfect for a large family/group (14-22 persons) or/and a fantastic party. Use the terrace or the huge fantastic living room that can also be turned into a ballroom. Spend some time by the pool surrounded by the spacious bedrooms.
We stayed there for 10 days and three of the nights we invited 50 friends for dinners and party. The villa is taken care of by Gillian and Derek who are the most lovely couple always prepared to be at your service. We will definitely come back.

Fabulous, large, airy very comfortable villa. Perfect for our family holiday
La Roca Rara is a fantastic holiday Villa. it is just outside Nerja so close to the beaches and shops but peaceful and undisturbed on a hill above and outside the town.
The facilities are excellent and it is extremely comfortable. it is airy and has lovely outdoor space by the pool and at the front on the very large Terrace. There is lots of outdoor seating - kitchen is excellently equipped - there are lots of fridges - air con in each room - all rooms are very comfortable. Sun loungers are plentiful and also very comfortable.
The tennis court is great and a real bonus if you like tennis! Between tennis, table tennis and the gorgeous pool there is plenty to keep you occupied.
The Villa gives a great sense of space inside and out and our family of 9 had a fantastic and relaxing holiday for two weeks.
I have to add that one of the biggest pluses of the Villa are Gill and Derek. They look after everything and do a really superb job. They are unobtrusive so you don't know they are there unless you need them, but they seem to be always available and sort out any query, request, issue immediately with no fuss and bother. They are the couple that all holiday Villas should have and would clone if they could!.We were extremely impressed by them.

Amazing
I have just come back from a lovely yoga weekend staying at Larocarara , it was truly amazing.
The villa was superb in a beautiful location.
Easy to get to from Malaga Airport.
The staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble.
I felt I was staying in true luxury.
I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of a relaxed holiday.

The most beautiful villa
I have stayed in this villa twice now and I loved it even more this time than the last. The villa is beautiful, the bedrooms are huge, nice bathrooms, pool is so stunning being right in the middle of the villa. We all sat round the pool every day chatting, snoozing and swimming. It's just idyllic.
The house managers are so friendly and took care of everything for us. We had Debbie cook for us and her food is excellent and she can't do enough for you.
We did some great activities within 10/15 minutes drive from the villa. Had great fun and it was brilliant to come back to the luxury of our villa. Thanks Justine for taking great care of us and can't wait to come back again next year (hopefully twice!)

The most gorgeous Yoga retreat weekend at the most beautiful villa!
Had a 4 day stay at La Roca Rara for a yoga retreat weekend. Setting is beautiful with all bedrooms facing in towards the tranquil pool area. We had our yoga classes poolside every morning and evening, and enjoyed delicious food and fun company. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable with little attentions to detail that made all the difference. ( thanks for the relaxing pillow spray and water bottle 😀)
The river bed walk was a lovely highlight, and a great thing to do with a group of us.
Justine, Jill and Debbie are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them to arrange.
Would definitely visit again. This Villa Would be a perfect property for a big family reunion holiday, or a perfect location for a break with lots of friends.

The caves of Nerja are must see attraction and easily accessible - open all year round.
Waterparks in Almunecar & Velez Malaga are only a short drive away - perfect day out wih the kids (May to September), Granada, Almeria, Malaga and Cordoba are all within easy reach of La Roca Rara.
Frigiliana and Nerja hold many festivals throughout the year.
Getting around
We do recommend that you hire a car. The nearest supermarkets are a 5 minute drive. The beach and town centre are a 10 minute drive. Taxis are very easy to hire and cost approx 10 euros into Nerja town centre.

Nearest airport is Malaga, recommended airlines for scheduled flights are: British Airways, Monarch Airlines and Easyjet.
The Villa is around a 50 minute drive from the airport.
