Our 2 bedroom air conditioned groundfloor apartment with a walled terrace is absolutely ideal an comfortable for couples with young children and for more mature guests as it also has a lift servicing the garage space below. It can sleep 5 persons as a cot can be placed in the master bedroom. Edificio Aljamar is one of the most elegant privately gated complexes in the picturesque Moorish town of Nerja. Situated just a short walk from the large sandy Burriana Beach, amenities such as Spanish supermarkets are also nearby making it is an ideal location for use all of the year round. You will be able to take possession of the apartment on the first day at about 4 in the afternoon but we will do our very best to accommodate your time arrival needs. However if the apartment is occupied on the day that you arrive our managed and supervised cleaning team will need time to carry out their tasks. If you need a supplementary bed, a cot or a cot side please order these in advance and we will be able to supply at a rental cost as appropriate (we shall do our very best to make this a free service too). We will provide you with details regarding the access to the keys and if possible we will accompany you to the property. On the day of your departure we would request you leave at 10 in the morning on the same day to provide our cleaning team with sufficient time to prepare the property for our next guest arrival. About the neighbourhood
Our apartment is directly owned and rented by ourselves and is closely situated near to Burriana Beach on the east side of the old Andalucian town of Nerja. We chose this location to purchase our property when it was built in 2003 as it is situated in a green belt area and provides a peaceful zone to relax and enjoy a holiday or longer stay. Many of our guests have describe it as a 'peaceful haven'. Being so near to the beach and shops, a hiring car is not absolutely essential but for those of you who wish to use our apartment as a base to tour then you would find this useful. The garage space in the apartment block garage is situated immediately below the apartment.

Getting around
Our apartment has a car parking space in the apartment block garage immediately below the apartment This is a must if you are arriving with a car because car parking spaces are at a premium in Nerja especially in the high seasons. Also this means that your car is parked in the shade - another important consideration in the summer months. If you do not have a car then there is no problems as we can provide help with booking our regular local taxi driver team (Miguel or his son Javier) to assist you. There is also a bus stop within 2 mins walk of this Edificio. The local information pack contains a sheet on how to walk too and from Burriana beach and to the centre of town

Airport: Malaga: 62.0 km
Railway: Malaga: 62.0 km
Ferry: Malaga: 55.0 km
Most of our guests arrive into Malaga airport if they are travelling by air. Others come by train into Malaga train station or drive. We an arrange for our local and regular taxi driver team to collect you from and deliver you back to the airport at a much reduced cost than if you were to hire a taxi from the airport itself. Alternatively we can put you in touch with Pablo for car hire and this is a great service as the car is delivered to the normal car park for your immediate collection on arrival. We can provide you with details of how to drive from the airport to the apartment taking the most up to date and easy route. The apartment has it's own dedicated car parking space in the apartment block garage which also has a lift.
