Small complex, with 4 newly constructed houses in the CENTER of Nerja, of 125m2 each. All have their own private garden. There is private parking and a common pool of 45m2 with terrace. The houses are located in the Parador area, close to the center and in walking distance from Burriana beach. You'll find bars and shops within 100m. House S has 3 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. 1st floor: -large open kitchen leading to the private outside terrace -living room -bedroom with private bathroom and separate toilet. 2nd floor: 2 bedrooms with each with private bathroom, access to a large terrace from the master bedroom, access to a small balcony from the other bedroom Tourist License / Licencia de turismo N °: VFT/MA/14230

Ideal location in Nerja
Fantastic location in spacious accommodation for up to 6 people- well equipped and modern interior- just what we wanted! We travel to Nerja a lot and this is definitely a good find - shared pool , not busy but had some damage to pool floor and steps by way of broken/missing tiles which could be dangerous for children - would have thought during lockdown this could have been repaired ready for visitors- but I am sure it will be soon. We stayed the last week of September and building work next door to the 4 villas is quite noisy during the day- we were out 3 out of 7 days on the beach or travelling but still felt we should have been warned about the noise - the manager lives in the row of villas and advised she will be letting people know for October who are staying as this could and will definitely cause disturbance to people staying. Femma the Manager allowed us to stay on the last day over the 10am check out till we got picked up which was a kind gesture and really appreciated as awaiting a 530pm pick up to the airport can be tough as no where to change/ freshen up so bear this in mind when selecting flight times! Overall a great holiday and a nice property!

Highly Recommend
We stayed at this property from February to May and would highly recommend this accommodation. It is spacious, has everything you need with a fully equipped kitchen and a fab sized pool. It's ideally situated between the Burriana beach area and the beaches in the town centre, which also has a great deal of different bars and restaurants. Although it was mainly just the 2 of us, we had guests to stay in all bedrooms. Everyone loved the property and it did not feel cramped when fully occupied and went home feeling they'd had a great time. Femma and Rick are excellent hosts, being very kind and supportive especially when our stay was extended due to Covid-19.

Not Ideal for a Longer Stay than an Average Holiday
Resided at Villa 1B for 4-months during the winter but after a few weeks, this property’s shortcomings began to rankle. Casas de la Seda is in a terrific location – 15 minute easy-walk to the old town of Nerja and a 15-minute walk to Burriana Beach. Within a 5-minute walk to an array of shops, café’s, restaurants, bars and supermarkets. The property is a good size – well laid-out and has a lovely outside terrace/garden with direct access to the communal pool (used by 4 villas, one of which is a permanent residence for a Dutch couple (who manage the three rental properties) and their two children). Having access to off-street (secure) parking is a definite bonus as the area around these villas is fairly active and located directly opposite a busy veterinary practice, means that on-street parking is virtually impossible but it also means that individuals regularly illegally park across the villa’s access driveway. Walking though the 3 bedroom/3 shower villa: Downstairs front-facing bedroom is a good size but offers no privacy whatsoever and therefore the window shutters need to be ‘down’ at all times this room is in use. The walk-in shower is good as are the twin sinks but the toilet for this bedroom is a short walk down the hall, (past a large picture window looking into the next door villa). This downstairs ‘loo’ suffers the effects of continuous and quite disgusting sewage smells emanating from upstairs water use! The living room, dining-room and kitchen is very short of furniture; one 2-3 seat sofa – so uncomfortable that you might as well sit on the floor. 2 small fabric covered ‘occasional’ chairs (one with a footstool) – disgustingly dirty with fungus evident (we bought ‘throws’ to allow us to actually use these chairs) – a large floor cushion in the same fabric as the chairs – so dirty that we, immediately on arrival, put this under a bed for the duration of our stay. This open-plan room also has two occasional tables and a wood burning stove (which we didn’t try) and a wooden top table with six comfortable dining chairs. The ‘kitchen’ area housed a good-sized dishwasher (which was broken for 3-weeks of our stay), an induction 3-place hob, a large fridge and the tiniest freezer ever seen – located in a cupboard on the opposite side of the room – this freezer is undoubtedly designed for placement in caravans! Unfortunately, having limited cooking utensils available, we had to buy a lot of stuff (which we took away with us on our departure). Outdoors there is a lovely terrace (with seating for 3-4 persons) and an occasional table, a dining table (for 6 persons) a parasol and small private garden area with artificial grass. Unfortunately it is often very difficult to peacefully relax in this area as the resident owner’s young teenage son regularly uses their outside space to host football games etc., with some of his local friends (who have no gardens). Upstairs on the first level, 2 bedrooms are located; both are a good size – bedroom 1 (the master) has one-third of its wardrobe blocked-off (for owner use) and so this significantly reduces the amount of useable storage space. This room houses a comfortable king-size bed, a fabric covered occasional chair and two utterly useless side tables made from recycled metal drums. This room enjoys a large balcony (to the rear – overlooking the garden and communal pool). The facilities in this room are well designed to ensure privacy: walk-in shower, double sinks and toilet. The guest bedroom has a king size bed, has access to a small balcony (overlooking the vet practice), good storage space in the fitted wardrobes, a walk-in shower, the tiniest little sink and a toilet (located inside an enclosed ‘phone-box’). This room also has two useless bedside tables – recycled metal drums!! On the roof terrace, where the washing machine and drying line are located, there are wonderful views of the surrounding areas and mountains. Sadly (and unusually) there is no safe in the property and only one full-length mirror – located inside bedroom 1. When we arrived, we quickly identified that the crockery was not ‘fit for use’ – all plates and bowls etc., were chipped/cracked and so we purchased our own. We also established that whilst washed, the bed linen was ‘horrible’ and so we also felt it necessary to purchase two complete sets of bed linen for use by our guests as well as ourselves, (needless to say, we took all of these purchases with us when we left). These villas have an antiquated Wi-Fi system – one for ‘downstairs’, one for ‘upstairs’ and another for the ‘terrace/pool area’……IF the router needs re-booted (which it does on occasion) one needs to rely on the owner/resident being at home and available as she alone has access to the main router! Unfortunately, we had no Wi-Fi access for 3-weeks during our stay due to cable failure which impacted the local area. This also impacted our ability to access any entertainment as the downloadable TV service relied on Wi-Fi. We specifically chose this property, in which to spend the winter, largely because it enjoyed the benefit of under-floor heating which was undoubtedly terrific but the downsides to staying at Casas de la Seda significantly outweighed the positives and so whilst we will return to Nerja for future winters, we won’t stay at this villa again.

david en christina asked us after 1,5 month to book for next winter again. then there were some issues with not being able to stay in the same villa all the time and from then on they totally changed and started to searh for ´imperfections´. off course we have plates for replacement, if we missed a few chipped ones. if there is anything broke, please tell directly instead of after 1,5 week, so we can try to arrange it directly. we have internet on fast fibra optica. our son plays only for an hour or 2 in the garden each week, so enough time to relax. just to mention a few. if guests leave after 4 months without even saying goodbye, that says more then enough. gracias

Exceptional!!!!!
We couldn’t recommend this property enough, location is effect, vertically a flat walk to the town centre which is rare in nerja, the property itself is beautiful and luxurious we also had amazing neighbours for our week which was the ferry on the top! Will be back next year!! Thank you for renting us this amazing property

Highly recommended
Our stay at Casas de la Seda was fantastic. The house is well designed with quality furniture and fittings and the beds are very comfortable. The house is also spotlessly clean and well equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery, coat hangers and towels. The pool area and garden is clean and well maintained. Rick and Femma are welcoming and friendly but without being intrusive. Having used Resort Hoppa to transfer from Malaga airport we didn’t need a car because everything is within easy reach of the house. There is a supermarket, bakery, fruit shop, bar and café within a 5 minute walk. It’s a short stroll to Burriana beach but uphill on the way back! Plenty of activities to do on the beach – kayaks, paddle boards, pedalos and giant sea inflatable. The town centre with its shops, bars, restaurants and the Balcon De Europa is within a 10 minute stroll. We caught the bus from the nearby station to the pretty village of Frigiliana – it costs 1 euro for the 15 minute journey and is well worth a visit. Casas de la Seda is perfectly situated and has everything you need for an enjoyable, relaxing holiday. Thank you

Fantastic family-friendly villa
Great location just a few minutes walk down the street to the beach. Also close to the the Balcon de Europe and old town. The villa is modern, clean, stylish and very comfortable. Child friendly touches made a huge difference. I couldn't recommend this place enough. Both the Villa and Nerja were superb. Highlights included the caves which are free on Mondays, Kayaking along the beautiful coastline and Frigliana.

Excellent, cool, contemporary home from home in the sun!
I stayed here with my family for 5 nights and wish it could have been longer. It's a lovely, clean, modern house with all new fittings, air con and real sun trap balconies and roof top sun terrace. We were 5 adults and 1 toddler and with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms we all had our own private space, which was excellent. Great feature for either, families with babies and toddlers or elderly relatives, is that one of the bedrooms is on the ground floor, so no worrying about stairs. Loved the patio area with soft patio seating, great to relax on in the evenings or early morning as is the little garden straight on to the swimming pool. Toddler proof gate another great feature. The location is also excellent. Surrounding buildings are mainly private Spanish villas with coffee shops and supermarkets very close by. Beach at the bottom of the road and 10 mins nice walk into the main town and the Balcony of Europe. Wouldn't hesitate to book again and thanks to Femma for her friendly hospitality on arrival providing refreshing drinks and snacks. The owners are close by which is good and gives a feeling of security and ensures that people remain considerate to each other. Don't hesitate, just book it!
