Town Barton sits in the heart of the old village next to the green, cricket pitch, and church. The village of Manaton enjoys a wonderful location surrounded by the moorland of the national park, yet is only 20 minutes drive from the main access routes into Devon.
Getting around
Excellent, walking, cycling, and horse riding directly from the house. Bowerman's Nose is one mile. Haytor is three miles. Excellent local pubs include; The Horse at Moretonhampstead Ring of Bells at North Bovey The Rugglestone at Widecombe The Cleave at Lustleigh North and South coast beaches are one hour. Saunton sands is good for surfing. Salcombe has sandy beaches and good for swimming.
