Judy and Duncan are delighted to have won the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence, based on independent reviews from guests. They constantly strive to make Dunsley the best it can be; latest additions include a TV and sofa beside the open fire (in addition to the TV in the snug), chocolates by the bedside and fluffy bathrobes for guest use. Like many houses in the harbour-side village, Dunsley is a traditional fisherman's cottage. Where it differs, is the detail. Lovely quaint fisherman's cottage in beautiful Staithes. Very tastefully furnished and bed very comfortable. Everything we needed was therected. Will definitely go back.

The cottage is ideal for a couple wishing to explore the North Yorkshire coast. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and is kept immaculately. The owners are friendly and helpful, providing excellent information about the property and the area. We plan to visit again.

We had a wonderful time at dunsley and will definitely be returning! The cottage was beautiful and cosy and a perfect spot for just parking up the car and forgetting the world for a while :-) Highlights not to be missed are Cleveland Corner Bistro, the sweet shop and obviously the stunning walks in either direction.

You can take boat trips along the coast or enjoy a day’s fishing with a local fisherman. Walkers love the famous Cleveland Way, one of Britain’s best long-distance paths that runs right through Staithes.
